This McCaskey looking fuck has done what exactly? Has one shovel of dirt been dug into yet where it counts? All I see is that ugly Toyota sign in the outfield. 3 years of losing on purpose enough for most of you or are you hoping for 2 or 3 more of the same?

What are your hopes going into next season? If the Cubs are quiet again in the FA market, will you be disappointed?

I'm really hoping for the Cubs to lose on purpose for about 2 more seasons. I feel like Theo and Jed are just hitting their stride in terms of being able to scout and select the best first-year player prospects as well as guys like Arrieta and Turner from other teams. Why waste such talent?

They better drop some serious coin on starting pitching.

Everything else looks positive but IMO only Arrieta and Hendricks are keepers for the rotation. Maybe Wada as a 5th but Wood has regressed and E Jax is E Jax.

Id grade Ricketts out as an F ....I will be extremely disappointed if they don't get some quality starting pitchers this offseason...Price n Cueto are on the top of my list.

Jon Lester is more realistic but I like your thinking on this one. Cueto and Price would be nice also. 8)

The Ricketts?
I mean, sure the one could use a salad, but they look healthy for the most part.

I agree with IMU. The saying stick your strengths applies here. Or if I may drop some b-school lingo - identify and maximize your core competency. Cubs are really doing an excellent job tanking, nailing top-10 picks and selling pieces. I say at least 3 more years of the same.
