That drive sucks. Are they playing in Westfield, IN? My cousins son had a tournament down there last week and he said the complex is really nice. How many games do they have to win to move on?

And fwiw, I'd never want to be on tv. It's the kids' time to shine.

Feel free to join the bandwagon. We are no longer just the South Side's team. Not even just Chicago's team. We aren't just Illinois' team. Not merely the Great Lakes' regional team. "WE" (boy I love to be able to use that) are everybody's team who wants in.

Now I gotta find a driver or two to help out with the ride to Williamsport to watch OUR team.

Take the boys to the creamery at penn state. Great ice cream and fairly close to Williamsport

MLB need a lot more African-Americans to play the game. When I was growing up,the game of fast pitch was real popular in the summer months. Maybe MLB could sponsor some 2 kid teams leagues of that to draw more interest. I know basketball is a lot easier to play and get a game going. It has been baseballs downfall in the less affluent areas of the big cities.
