Alice In Chains
Rage Against The Machine
Led Zepplin. Ok that is a lie I just hated them and found out after the hate omg they were good even if hey plagiarized.

My list will continue after sonny stops crying.

Yeah STP. Pearl Jam rip offs. Sans the fact that they weren't. Core is a good album.

Not so much love but..

Pearl Jam - I hated them but they're grown on me. Their Unplugged show is awesome.

Slipknot - I use to hate these guys so much back in high school but I've grown to accept them because they seem to be a pretty good gateway band into metal for the youngins. Alot of their songs have great energy and are quite enjoyable even if the guitar work is bland as fuck.

Yeah it's definitely not must listen but I've come way around on CSN, Tom Petty and Jethro Tull to the point where I don't turn them off immediately like I used to. Lots of listenable stuff in their catalogues .

I held out a remarkably long time on Death Cab For Cutie and the Decemberists. Now I can tolerate a few Death Cab songs, and actively like the Decemberists.

POST-INTERCEPT: wuh wuh wuh, Tom Petty has "lots of listenable stuff"? More like lots of awesome stuff! His greatest hits album should be issued to every boy who gets his driver's license (and some girls, too!) so he (or she) can have a proper soundtrack for enjoying what it's like to be superficially free in America. All killer, no filler.

:| just never really got into him or could appreciate his music till recently . I think it was one of those Classic Albums shows that did it for me. Listening to the band discuss the music and as I sat listening to the songs the lightbulb clicked on.

I don't need a shred of analysis to know that "Refugee" is the shit.

I like the Tom Petty/Steve Nicks song Stop Draggin My Heart Around alot. I'm not a huge Petty fan but he has a unique style of writing where when you hear it you instantly know It's a Tom Petty song.

You're missing the two best Petty songs- "American Girl" and "Southern Accent".

No. It was right the first time. "That's just your opinion" is a bullshit argument for the weak. All opinions aren't equal.

You took it upon yourself to prove that to the board last week, at great personal sacrifice.

:)

Oh, I like "American Girl" a lot, just not ahead of those five. Had to draw the cutoff somewhere!

I'm just saying it's his signature song and hits some emotional peaks that are difficult to achieve in pop music.
