I like to think that there was a voice in lipid's head talking in Mance Rayder's voice saying "I will build the largest fire the 'moor has ever seen!"

And yeah like I said before, camps seems to like corn on the cob more than I like anything. I'm actually envious.

Great time again. Thanks Darkside and DW.

Yes, the corn on the cob was absolutely outstanding. :D

I enjoyed the Irish drunk lady, especially when she was calling WZ out on his fake used of an accent. Hopefully FF got her number after he hit that.

So yeah, last night was fun.

Z, don't worry about the pizza...it was my pleasure...especially considering it got me out of cooking the last 3 packages of chicken tenders...I was too drunk to deal with that nonsense.

Great to see everyone again.

 I don't think I have, but thanks. What you can't really tell from that picture is that there actually was a mouth hole so I was able to drink while wearing the bag.

I agree with Darko that it was a relatively tame party and fireworks. That is not to say that the fireworks were bad, its just that we've seen better. The traffic in the town after the fireworks seemed worse than after a show at Alpine Valley. I am not sure why anybody would attempt to leave the town via their car until at least 90 minutes after the fireworks are over.

Good food, cold beer, raging firepit, no live music this time round, but Don Tiny made sure Pink Floyd was not turned up, and that there was at least one Steely Dan song played. Evidently country music made its way onto the playlist after I had went to sleep. It was about midnight when I finally cashed out, which for those of you scoring at home is roughly nine-and-a-half hours worth of partying. I think thats a pretty good night. Before the fireworks, Darkside and doug were the most sober that I can ever remember.

This little shindig seems to prove every year why its the message board event of the year. So many good people, laughs, drinks, its just all around an awesome event. For those of you that have not had the pleasure of attending, I implore you to do what you can to clear your calender on the second Saturday in August for the 2015 festivities. Us Fest veterans can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

I think they were good and done when we left...just that I totally wasn't prepared to leave when I was...asked...if we could leave. Thus, totally went the wrong way, ended up driving into a blocked off street, had to turn around...what should have been a 15 minute drive back to the hotel turned into closer to an hour.

Sorry to have missed this year. Was a long Friday and needed the rest on Saturday before driving up yesterday to White Trash Vegas (a.k.a. Wisconsin Dells).

After sitting out front people/traffic watching for a bit after the fireworks, the actual Lakemoorfest is in the team photo for White Trash Vegas.

It was fun. I can't believe nobody brought tortilla chips! Now the Darkos have to eat salsa and chicken for four days.

I wasn't feeling all that great near the end of the night...too much damn sugar between the snow cone, two gatorades, the 1lb of carmel corn, and that chocolate cupcake that Mrs. Boyd made.
I left immediately after the fireworks and traffic was already a bit crazy on 120.

While it was less attended and tamer than other years, the flank steak was probably the best than at any previous Lakemoorfest. 8)
2lbs of flank steak scored at an angle. 1/3 cup of kikkoman soy sauce, 1/3 cup of olive or veggie oil, 3 tablespoons of red wine vinegar. salt, pepper, garlic powder.

I have no idea Francis.

I threw out a line and I caught a fish.

Are Speeps and KS still chatting with each other?
