No doubt in my mind. Bernstein will say he had it coming. Bernstein exact quote will be: "Cracker runs onto a track of speeding cars, cracker deserves to die. It's a good thing. Thins the herd of dumb asses in the world."

He'll find no fault at all with Stewart. Naturally, Terry will have the same opinion.

Id rather hear just as qualified racing expert JORR's take on Boers' take on the situation.

He'll try to wow us with something basic, that he thinks is REALLY. SMART. like, "even if he's not charged criminally, he can still be held responsible in a civil action. The burden of proof is different in a civil action".

Me too. He will also point out some twitter handle of an attorney who is "doing a really nice job kind of breaking down the legalities and nuances of this particular case." I'm sure Dan will hail this person who kind of "cuts through the noise" and "really gets down to what you need to know."

The worst part about incidents like this is listening to hosts that know nothing about NASCAR talking about it like they know what they're saying.

It's like listening to broads talk about football.

Perfect example - Spiegel wants a rule that you can't get out of your car "unless you have to".

How is a driver going to know if he "has to"? The first time a guy burns to death because his fuel line ruptures while he waits in there everyone will be screaming "WHY DON'T THEY LET THEM GET OUT OF THEIR CARS!?!?!?

No one should be allowed to walk on the track. Ever.

If Tony Stewart is in the race. If he's not racing, then feel free to do what you've been doing for 75 years.

I think this is spot on. Lots of "burden of proof" lesson teaching.

Nobody is saying Stewart had a right to hit him. Nobody is saying Ward deserved to die.

*SIGH* Look, for all the dopes out there who wouldn't know a race car if one bit them on the ass, uh, um, eh, eh, again, when I would whip my GTO around the parking lot at Duke's, I, I, I, uh, eh, I mean, again, for the love of God, but eh, uh, uh, there was that time when Brock Walters was hosing down the drive-thru at Jack-In-The-Box and I came around the corner, but, eh, uh, look, I'm not on Twitter like my partner here, and these tweets or whatever you call them, eh, ah, you could do a lot worse than reading @pantherlawalsip if you want to understand the legal issues involved in running over a man during the middle of an automobile race.

Of course. You'll be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't agree with that.
