Offensively the Cavs are going to be tough to defend 1 on 1. Can they play team ball? Defensively they are going to be awfully thin upfront. LeBron can't guard everyone.

It helps when you play in a conference in which there's no one to really guard.

Seriously though check these lineups out; which one is better?

C Noah
PF James
SF Anthony
SG Wade/Irving
PG Rose

C Anthony Davis/Howard
PF Aldridge
SF Nowitzki
SG Lillard
PG Paul

The one on the top is a mix of EC starters and reserves from last year (minus P. George, plus D. Rose), and the one on the bottom is the West's bench from the same year. The Cavs will have problems out West, but outside of Chicago I don't really see what they have to fear for the majority of their games.

If Wade saw Kobe's doctor the Heat could be in the picture. If Rose is healthy the Bulls have the most complete team in the East. They can play great defense and score on the inside and outside. They move the ball like the Spurs too.

I think the Heat will be a respectable playoff team but not a serious contender. Even if they make it to the finals due to Chicago's ineptitude and Cleveland's injuries, for example, they'll get blown out in the finals.

Like 2010, if you can stop the Bulls' attack by simply bottling up Rose, then they will not score enough to beat Cleveland. If they're able to score with and without Rose, the season will be more intriguing.

Gasol gives them a post option they didn't have in 2010. He will destroy Love and Tristan Thompson because neither play d this year the Bulls have more than 1 good shooter. If McDermott or Mirotic are special this season the Bulls could be unbeatable.
