I felt empty yesterday, and still this morning - but now the Robin Williams stuff is taking on a life of it's own.

I think it'll trump Heath Ledger's demise - longer body of work - worked with more people - did more for charity.

Is Heath still dead btw? ;)

Yea...celebrity deaths don't usually effect me much, but this one just wont go away. Count me among those who are fortunate to not understand depression or sadness & to a lesser degree, addiction. Robin Williams was one off the most beloved celebrities ever. Everyone loved the guy. He seemingly had the world by the ass...but the sadness finally got the best of him...which I just don't understand. Why? What did he have to feel sad about? I don't get it...but his death has saddened me & I cant stop thinking about it.

If you were asking this question seriously though it was a topic on all three sports stations this week. Sadly I listened to them all. Johnny Morris. Honestly before it was pounded in my brain the past week I didn't know that.

Success does not equal happiness. Because you have the world by the balls don't mean shit. List them off. It kinda sucks to be talented.

Well, Mr. Lawyer, the object of the exercise is to answer the question that was asked.

Meh I am barely literate. Reading is a skill that passed me by. I won't argue the fact that you were correct. I will just wallow in my humiliation. I hope you are proud.

No worries. I can see you're more of a quantity over quality guy.

You're perfect for this place.

Pretty much. Before I was an insomniac and writing from devices I actually used to write decent things. Nowadays meh, I'm just a waste to read mostly. Every once in a while I might have a well thought out gem.

They will hate you at some point in their life. You deal with it.

I think the guy was beloved because no one knew him. He was like the super cool frat guy who everyone liked because everyone else liked him but no one ever had any serious interaction with him.

By all the accounts I've seen he was kind and gracious to people. It goes a long way when you are successful like him. You might be right about not really knowing him or at least his darkness but what people did know they loved. It's still painful for them, maybe even moreso.

I grew up with my parents hating me because they hated each other. Lived apart for 9 years accidentally got back together and had me. My mom committed suicide. I never hated her before that. Took many years until I was 17 to feel any pain over her passing. Money can never ever correct those feelings. Not my mothers and not my family's.

Walter leads in receptions.

Bobby Douglas in YPC for career.

I knew those two answers.

Just didn't know minutia about the Saints playoff history. At the end of the day - the Bears beat those domed pansies in #BearWeather, and that's all that fuckin' mattered.

And also that Joe Namath's last pass was caught by Gary Fencik (his first NFL INT) on MNF.

Sounds like Robin Williams's, booziness, drugginess, divorce settlements, failed TV show, heart valve replacement and diagnosis with Parkinson's finally wore the poor guy down. ...add depression and possible bipolar issues to that - and it's a recipe for disaster.
