But spring training games and NBA preseason games dont seem nearly as terrible

Oh, you're crazy. They're way worse.

I'll watch pretty much every minute of each Bears preseason game.

I'll watch a collective 15 minutes of Cubs/Bulls spring training/exhibition.

No way.

Spring training can be all kinds of entertaining. But Im a big baseball guy. And Ill bet NBA preseason/summer league is interesting to the Favre Fans of the world.

You are the exception though. Even guys who I consider obsessed with football dont really watch entire pre season games.

Im saying...its still football...it should be entertaining if you love the game of football. Like John Madden.

Spring training games can be fun when you are napping on the couch on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Preseason football is a contest to not hurt yourself. NBA is ok since the starters will still play 20-25 minutes and the roster isn't the size of the population of a small city.

I'm a big baseball guy, too. Hell, I've been watching Cubs games and DVRing them all summer.

I'd say NBA is 3rd in my priority list but I'll watch over half the Bulls games each year as time permits.

But, there really aren't as many significant jobs up for grabs in baseball, certainly not basketball.

NFL preseason is the time to see guys that will probably have an impact on actual games at some point due to injury. Baseball has it, too. I'll watch a little exhibition. But, it's just not as exciting to watch Pedro Strop throw some middle relief in Arizona.

I didnt mean to say Im a bigger baseball guy. I just mean that I love watching baseball under almost any circumstances but not so with basketball and football

I enjoy that Pedro Strop situational stuff in march.

I'd say it's just personal preference.

But, you're just wrong.

 Enjoy watching the Chris Leak's of the world, while I watch the guy who will probably be on the mound when the Cubs win it all in 2016

The Park District may be giving tickets away- in a corner and/or endzone. They aren't giving these tickets away. I'll sell these tickets to one of the few real football fans out there. But it's a big TV night since the game is being broadcast.

I am sure you will find a buyer. I found someone to buy Blackhawk playoff tickets.

I'm with you unless I have a reason to be excited about the season. I couldn't get enough Cubs in the early 2000's and the Bulls a few years ago so I watched and read everything.
