Congrats. My problem with craft beer is that it tastes so damn good when it hits your lips.

It does!

I have turned to red wine with dinner during the week. Much easier to have a glass. Beer just asks to be drunk in multiples.

PSA: Took one for the team last night. Seduced by the austere (heh) label and local status I picked one of these up. Improperly brewed, 3/4 of the bottle foamed out of the bottle upon opening.

A 6 pack of Coora Original, as well

So had a fun beer this weekend:

http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/27870/82803/

Contact High by 4 Hands. - Reminded me of Oberon with the citrus kick to it. Great ice cold near a pool and low ABV to enjoy multiples.

I don't want to be that guy, but holy crap, Zombie Dust falls off a cliff in a month. This beer is nothing like it should be.

So reading this thread the GIBCB is available Black Friday? Is that something you wait in line for at midnight thirsday? Do you need a guy to reserve/hide it or you? Is it just a large bottle?

Yes.

No. I go to my Binny's one hour before they open. I usually find a few other spots, as well.

Do you need a guy to reserve/hide it or you?

No.

Is it just a large bottle?

The flagship comes in a four pack of 12 oz. bottles, usually for $22.99. Other variations come in 12 and 22 oz. bottles.

I may be ready to take a beating on this one, but while in MI, had a Pale Ale better than Zombie Dust:

Odd Sides (out of Grand Haven, MI) makes a Citra Pale Ale that will make you forget about ZD and travel all over St Joseph Michigan to find it. Wow. Just wonderful.

Did you bring any back? I've got a bunch of stuff I could trade if so. And I won't flame you. I think PseudoSue is better than Zombie.

I found 4 bottles in all of Saint Joseph. If I had tried it in South Haven, I would have had a 12 pack.

I went on the tour at Lagunitas yesterday. I would recommend it for all of you beer snobs. It's quite a place they've got down there on 18th and Rockwell. Whether it's "craft brewing" or not is debatable. I would argue it's not. I did learn during the tour that the official term "craft brewer" was based upon production of less than 2 million barrels until Sam Adams lobbied whatever association approves such designations to raise the number to 6 million barrels. Even with this new facility Lagunitas still produces less than 2 million barrels a year. At this point it seems to me that "craft brewing" has more to do with an ethos or an attitude than a specific production amount. And from that perspective, Lagunitas is definitely a craft operation.

Anyway, Miles the tour guide was a lot of fun. The tap room was packed. I didn't have any of the food, but it all looked pretty good. I had a couple New Dogtowns, which is my favorite Lagunitas beer and a black IPA called Midnight. Also, they have something called the Fusion series. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but I think maybe those beers have been made by others with Lagunitas promoting them or something. Anyway, considering that the basic Lagunitas profile consists of high hops and high ABV, a couple of these Fusions are good session beers, particularly Fusion 21 and Fusion 23.

The beers from the "Big Eddy" series were pretty good. The regular line of beers is pretty bad.
