What about the "witnesses" that saw him get shot in the back? Doesn't matter that they were full of shit ? No way they would be lying just to get cop in further trouble? What happened to he was on his knees with his hands up? Is that still true? Or if we're going to believe what "witnesses" have said , theres now audio of one of the witnesses saying that Brown doubled back toward the officer? If thats true , still no justification to shoot? Or is this cop just wrong no matter what ?

In what possible scenario could this have been justified?

Even if Michael Brown was running towards him, six shots to take down an unarmed guy?

Are you being serious?

My fear is we may be looking at rioting all over the country if the DOJ doesn't step in and make a determination if he Officer Wilson should or shouldn't be prosecuted. No one trusts Bob McCulloch. Not long ago he failed to charge 2 cops that fired 21 shots and killed 2 unarmed men. His public support of the police following the death of Mike Brown and the fact his father was murdered by a black man when he was a kid doesn't help.

The witnesses saw him jerk his body while running away and assumed he got shot. As was explained by an expert that was likely done in response to a bullet passing closely by his ear. Unless the cop is about 8 feet tall Mike Brown had to have been on his knees or the path of the final 2 bullets would have been impossible. He was shot in the eye (it came out his neck) and he was shot on top of his head. The 3 shots on the inside of his arm would likely happen if your hands are in the air.

Any chance he doubled back and was running towards the officer as suggested by the new audio?

It would be extremely odd for someone to run 40 feet away from someone who is shooting at them and then decide to run back towards the gunfire. I guess it is possible even for someone as fat as Mike Brown. I think it's far more likely (the bullet wounds support it too) that he turned around and fell to his knees with his arms in the air.

Guy just tried to get my gun away from me in the car moments before, runs away, doubles back towards me. 6'4 250. What am I supposed to do? Better yet, how would you handle that? shoot to injure like on TV? Shoot as many times until he stopped ? Do nothing ?

He we listed at 300 lbs. If that was him on the video then 400 lbs was closer to the truth.

I like how everywhere I hear about this it's people on one side or the other.

Cant it just be both people were in the wrong? Some wannabe teenage thug tried intimidating a cop and may or may not of tried to attack him and the cop responded by unloading a whole clip into him.

Just one guess, I don't know all the facts, but neither does anyone else. It gets tiring of seeing all these people go "rabble rabble rabble!" over shit they know nothing about. At the start of this you would of thought it was just some pissed off, angry cop who executed an innocent black teenager in the middle of the street godfather style solely because of his skin color.

You also have the key witness, who is the kid's friend. That right there, no one questioned right off the bat that maybe him and any of these other witnesses might be lying? You know, a white cop in a black neighborhood gets into with a black teenager and takes his life. Who would think that the black community in that neighborhood that saw one of their own get in a dispute with a white cop and got gunned down over it might be exaggerating the story a bit? Then we find out the kid's friend is the one who helped him rob the store. Makes sense now he was lying.

This could just all come down to the fact that most cops are fucking assholes with itchy trigger fingers and most teenagers are fucking dumb. I won't say that this isn't a race thing at all though. We still don't know for sure what happened and we all know that white people can get away with more shit than black people can. Vegas odds are in my favor of not getting shot 6 times by a cop for telling him to go fuck himself. Racial profiling isn't going anywhere.

However, the whole "white cop kills black teen for no reason" story seems to be going out the window more and more each day. But most people, as usual, decided what their opinion was the day they heard the news and will stick with it no matter what.

This should be a fun trial if it goes to court.

I'm on the side of the protestors insofar as they seek a transparent, objective investigation into the shooting. I also think snide comments about the looting and what not are misguided, as if general post shooting criminality somehow makes the shooting more understandable.

That being said, and without insinuating anything since we still don't know what happened, I do think one's first thought when you see 6'4 200 whatever in the flesh isn't "kid", even thought it really was a kid relatively speaking. But again an investigation not led by the squad directly involved needs to happen, and all evidence should be provided to the investigation team. Screw any officer involved in obstructing a fair and transparent investigation.

Use the hand to hand combat techniques you should have been taught to take him down, use pepper spray. Hell even a taser.

You don't shoot an unarmed guy six times. There's no justification for that. If you disagree you are wrong.

It depends. Do we know if he was wearing a St. Louis Blues shirt or not? Got to know all the facts first.

Pathologist said 1 of the bullet wounds on his arm could have come while he was running away. He also said that there was no physical evidence of a struggle. He was shot at LEAST 6 times and there was no evidence any of them were closer than 3 feet.

The alleged witness tells the man that Brown was in the police car with Wilson and then got out and ran away.
'Then the next thing I know he doubled back towards him cus (sic) the police had his gun drawn already on him,' according to blog, Conservative Tree House.
The witness then contradicts the now crucial narrative of the how the tragic events unfolded last Saturday.

Begins at 6:28/6:29 of video
Man 1: 'How’d he get from there to there?'
Eyewitness: 'Because he ran, the police was still in the truck – cause he was like over the truck'
Eyewitness: 'But him and the police was both in the truck, then he ran – the police got out and ran after him'
Eyewitness: 'Then the next thing I know he doubled back toward him cus - the police had his gun drawn already on him'
Man 1: 'Oh, the police got his gun'
Eyewitness: 'The police kept dumpin on him, and I’m thinking the police kept missing – he like – be like – but he kept coming toward him
(crosstalk)'
Eyewitness: 'Police fired shots – the next thing I know – the police was missing'
Man 1: 'The Police?'
Eyewitness: 'The Police shot him'
Man 1: 'Police?'
Eyewitness: 'The next thing I know … I’m thinking … the dude started running … then something about he took it from him'

'He pulled up ahead of them. And then he got a call-in that there was a strong-arm robbery. And, they gave a description,' said the friend in an interview with Josie on The Dana Show.
'And, he’s looking at them and they got something in their hands and it looks like it could be what, you know those cigars or whatever. So he goes in reverse back to them.
'Tries to get out of his car. They slam his door shut violently. I think he said Michael did. And, then he opened the car again. He tried to get out. He stands up.
'And then Michael just bum-rushes him and shoves him back into his car. Punches him in the face and them Darren grabs for his gun. Michael grabbed for the gun. At one point he got the gun entirely turned against his hip.
'And he shoves it away. And the gun goes off.
'Well, then Michael takes off and gets to be about 35 feet away. And, Darren’s first protocol is to pursue. So, he stands up and yells, 'Freeze!# Michael and his friend turn around.
'And Michael taunts him… And then all the sudden he just started bumrushing him. He just started coming at him full speed.
'And, so he just started shooting. And, he just kept coming. And, so he really thinks he was on something.'

This new development follows photographs from last Saturday that were taken in the minutes after Brown's death.
They came as Missouri Governor Jay Nixon announced that he has signed an order declaring a state of emergency 'to keep the people safe' and implemented a midnight to 5am curfew in Ferguson on Saturday.
Yahoo News published the photograph of Darren Wilson on their homepage in a report detailing Brown's February commendation for 'extraordinary effort in the line of duty'.

The bolded part doesnt sound feasible. The eyewitness account might. But I cant imgaine he was running toward the cop after the cop started shooting

Yea, I don't care how dumb you are. If a cop already has his gun drawn on you from 35 feet away, you're not going to bumrush him. That's just suicidal.

The bullet wounds would make it hard to believe that he was running at the officer after he ran away. Unless he was running with his hands up. Problem is the last 2 shots to the eye and head would make that unlikely too.

Edit: Even the police chief said the officer didn't know about a robbery.

Im not joking. There are times where some crazy biker dude is on PCP and it takes like 6 different cops to stop him.

What does a cop do on the street? Does a tazer even take those guys down?

I caught an episode of cops a few months ago when a cop got in a fight with some dude on PCP, and the cop was definitely losing. The cameraman even puts the camera down and jumps in to help out, lol.

Well, if the kid didn't have a gun, I think he has to be, doesn't he?

Apparently, it was ok for him to use deadly force on an unarmed black male. However, if he was in a group of three or more cops then that is a different story. Then they beat him with their sticks, like Rodney King. Good thing for Rodney, it wasn't a lone officer that stopped him.

If the community gather together like Rancher Bundy all of this would be over. Police would immediately leave them alone.

in one of the 'dude gets bitten' stories from Lollapalooza, the guy was saying like him and 5 of his friends were beating the shit out of the guy, , like kicks to the head....and the guy walked away like nothing happened . seems like PCP would be good to take if you were a boxer or MMA guy

I am pretty sure it is not, unload your clip in him and call an EMT.

Cop handbook 101:

Q: what if someone is high on PCP?
A: If your shotgun is not handy. Unload your clip and call for an EMT.

What is the protocol for police if someone is high on PCP

Im not joking. There are times where some crazy biker dude is on PCP and it takes like 6 different cops to stop him.

What does a cop do on the street? Does a tazer even take those guys down?

Just Tazer him. !00% guaranteed to stop him.

Considering how fat he was too much of that could have killed him too. All of this came from an officer trying to enforce a jaywalking law by telling 2 kids to "get the fuck out of the street" and then reversing his car when the kids likely said something disrespectful.
