I love how Mike North also says, "Don't worry about Thomas Jones stats right now" when he tries to bring up Jones would be helping out a lot if he was still here.

I actually think Jones might even be doing slight worse over in Chicago right now just because he has a tendency to dance a lot if there is not a huge hole for him. I'd expect lots of runs for negative yards out of him this year.

Thrillho, the point is that Benson is a terrible back. He looks slow, can't break, ended up with a long run because the defender fell on his ass (otherwise he would have gained two yards). He is apparently disliked by the other players, and he doesn't know when to shut the fuck up. Let Peterson and Wolfe do this. They can't do any worse than Benson.

Yes they could. Cedric Benson is the most talented back on our team, and that is why he is given the starting job after doing everything in his power to give it up. He is a dumbass but the people behind him are not better.

God damn - looked at the numbers at the end. Griese had 52 attempts? Jesus, I hope his arm doesn't fall off today.

if that is the case, then how can anybody judge Benson on his 15 carries for 50 yards?

and note, i'm not saying that Benson is a fantastic running back. much like everybody else on the offense, he looks awful. but jesus christ, the point is that when the offense sucked the first 3 games, everybody pounded on rex. now they took rex out and its onto benson. so when they take out benson and the offense still sucks, who is next?

if jones was rushing in these games, his stats would have been just as awful.

QB play is as much mental as it is physical. RB is 90% physical.
