I'm sorry you think Dan's look is creepy??

Terry is staring into space......looking like he just took off the oxygen mask.....in anticipation of something being put into his mouth...by a man THAT LOOKS LIKE A CHILD MOLESTER!!!!

Is Terry from another dimension or something? Every picture he takes is blurry and distorted.

He hologrammed it in from his in-house studio.

Has anyone seen a photo that shows the "crowd"? I would be willing to bet that the number of attendees not employed by CBS or advertisers, or said persons dates, was in the low-to-mid single digits.

I've been waiting for a post on this in the hopes that maybe the staff was more focused upon removing McNeil's name from their intellectual properties. For an event at such a "top notch" location, and produced in such a "top notch" manner, with top dollar tickets going to the most important of charities, I would hope to have heard that it was a success, fun, or memorable. At least to have a few quality pictures of the event to make me sad that I missed out.

I trust others here to listen, and hope that someone was able to work something beyond a cell phone camera to share.

After the hundreds of commercials and live reads about the event it would be laughable if it only sold a few dozen tickets (if that).

Think about it. The type of guy who would attend a celebration for a radio show is the same guy that calls radio shows. Bernstein treats his callers like morons and retards, does he really think his "fans" will want to plop down $130 to 'hang out with him?'

Terry must be the cheapest fuck around. The guy pulls down 500K, lives in some far flung shithole exurb where he bought before whatever they consider gentrification, has adult aged kids and still can't plunk down the money for a nice suit to wear for public events

What's the better Score plebe look: black shirt with neon tie or satin burgundy shirt with satin burgundy tie?

Closest I could find. Dan walks off into the ether after his very important speech. There can't be more than 40-50 people there.

that speech...was absolutely AMAZING!!! I used to think he was just a pompous ass that thought he was changing the world with his attempts at comedy and insight of global events and issues. Now...I KNOW IT!

Not to OVER analyze..but just by getting feel of room from video and counting tables...if you assume dimensions and numbers are consistent with what we CAN see...I am guessing three sides around dance floor...5 tables per side...10 people per table...150 people....75%? score employees and guests?

Even if lower...pretty pathetic for a show bragging been on for 15 years in the 3rd LARGEST market in the country during drive time. Congrats Dan and Terry on just not sucking TOO much!

I think that is a conservative estimate but acceptable. Now, they were more likely 8 person tables but there were more than 5 per side as the crossbar of the U is longer than the uprights.

I thought I counted 7 on the upright, so lets say 21 tables with 170 total people.

As far as attendance: Dan and Terry each get a table. Score executives get a table. Score promotions get a table. Probably another 2-3 go to the biggest sponsors. Entertainment gets a table in the corner somewhere. I would say AT MOST there were 120 paying customers. My best guess would be 100. Mc Nugget challenge had at least 20 without any city wide promotion.

I can only imagine the sad sack table of guys like Ten Foot Midget and Schmutzie who stretched to cover the cost because of how important this event was to them.

Because there are so, so many people who express the "can't make it through work without you" sentiment, they had to price them out of attending. After counting for sponsors, people who draw a check from CBS and family, you had about 30 of the most important fans rubbing elbows with Dan & Terry. Has there been any mention of how much was raised for COSI?

On so many levels this represents "fail" as both an event celebrating their past as well the prospects of moving forward.

They continue to delude themselves that their listeners are black-tie wearing, Champagne sipping intellectuals and throw parties catering to that crowd.

When in reality, it's a bunch of guys that would much rather throw back a bucket of swill while listening to a 15th anniversary remote in the background with a game on the TV.

This is truth. Just have a good old time holding court in some bar.

The truth is, like all Score anniversaries, this is a thinly veiled sponsor event. There is nothing wrong with that, it just shouldn't be confused with some important pouring out of mutual love between host and listener.
