Wada is a bad example of the Cubs potential emergence. He is 33 years old. However, I do get the feeling that there are real major league pieces on this roster, namely Rizzo, Castro, Baez, Alcantara, Neil Ramirez, Hendricks, and Arrieta. Once we add in Soler and Bryant, among other young players, the team should be competitive. It may only take a few free agent signings to get this team in contention. I can't see it coming together next year, but 2016 is a real possibility for 90+ wins.
