I imagine at least one person will take a QB ahead of me. I wouldn't be surprised if two were gone. I am in the range where I might be able to get the best WR.

Brandon Marshall had monster numbers when Cutler was healthy and I think he is good for another 100 receptions this year. I haven't really analyzed it but at first blush this may be the way I go.

I went with a strong WR corps last year and won the championship. Previous years I always looked RB early with the thinking I could find a mix of good WR on a weekly basis. I may just go WR, WR and sweat out the RB into late Rd. 3.

i wouldnt take marshall over dez or AJ green

you didnt post your scoring system... but it could be argued a decent approach would be WR, WR, then 4-5 RB's then a QB

Depends if you are in a ppr league. If not then wr or jimmy Graham might work.

PPR

Obviously Calvin Johnson is top. I'd take Marshall's consistent production over Bryant. I think AJ will have more yards but less receptions than Marshall. Julio Jones is a strong consideration as well. I'm not as big on Demaryius Thomas as others but I imagine Manning will rely on him even more with Decker gone.

I had Bryant, Brown and Gibson last year. I stole Gibson because of his early 2 game suspension.

8th pick in a 12-man PPR.

I've ended up last the past two years so I need to swerve my drafting philosophy.

I think I'm set on going forward WR/WR and open to possibly going WR again in the 3rd if there's value.

I've had the epiphany that unless you get the elite small tier of RBs you're just throwing darts hoping to hit a jackpot.

don't dismiss Graham with that #8. He is just as good as a top WR, maybe better.

Thinking this over, I really want to end up with De Marco Murray, Montee Ball or Gio Bernard. If all three of them are there at 10, I will go WR and pray that two of the next guys go WR or even better, QB

I am of the belief that there are plenty of QB who can get you points on a weekly basis. Let most of the league draft and get yourself someone good in the middle rounds.

I have two options for a keeper:

Gio Benard and give up 4th rounder
Percy Harvin and give up 14th rounder

Percy Harvin offers more value but damn he's terrifying and be a freaking bust with one bum hammy.

I would take him at #8. With Gronk's inability to stay in one piece, Graham dominates the position.

You should have your choice of AJ Green or Marshall at the 10 spot. PPR there's not a single guy of your 3 that I would take ahead of either of them (Ball is the only one I would even consider)

Bernard.

Bernard is the safe and probably correct choice. I'm a big Harvin apologist though and the value of him in 14 would most likely have me keeping him. Actually hoping he doesn't get kept in my PPR so I can snag him for my WR2 or WR3

12 team league, and I had the 8th pick. I took Graham. I grabbed Brandon Marshall with the 17th pick.

So I went with Demarco Murray at 1 and followed with Dez Bryant at 2. My team is

QB
Luck

RB
Murray
Foster
S. Jackson
Ridley
Blount

WR
Bryant
Garcon
K. Wright
Shorts
J. Jones

TE
Rudolph

D
Jets

K
Eaglos

I thought I had a good draft. The computer said I had the worst draft in the league. If Arian Foster hits, I think I have a championship team

Should probably drop Blount and pick up either Foster's or Murray's back up given their injury questions.

Murray is a roller coaster ride and the WRs after Bryant are uninspiring imo. But yeah if Foster hits and Murray is healthy it should be fine, but I think the real x factor is Ridley.

Wait I don't know if J Jones is Julio or the former Packer. If the latter then I stand by my thoughts.

I had already thought of that. It was the last pick, I was drinking and the contact high was off the charts in that room by the time we got to that last round. I've never seen a group of guys take that many 3-5 minute breaks.

James Jones.

Kendall Wright caught 90 balls and the coaches are talking about force feeding it to him this year.

i'd go for manning/brees/rodgers at that point, but then again i prefer to have one of the "big ticket" quarterbacks if given a choice.

then after the quick turnaround i'd hope that i could get brandon marshall (as i tend to let aj green go to somebody else just before them) or maybe even dez bryant, but in ~6 drafts this year i've seen dez go before marshall. you're gonna risk being a bit thin at RB, however i've found that if you've got QB/WR/TE/DEF locked you can pretty much piecemeal RBs together as there's going to be a few new starting running backs by the middle of the season, so i you can get at least one lower-end starter (i love zac stacy hovering around 20-25, even with the now-annual sam bradford season ending injury) you should be able to jump at someone like whatshisface after ray rice on the ravens (even tho he's woozy in preseason)... bernard pierce! thereyago. ray rice is done IMHO and the establshment of "the ray rice rule" will fuck him up.

and btw it's about to be testes on somebody from SF, and hey scorehead's guy harbaugh said that he'll never tolerate a wifebeater on his team so i want this guy cut ASAP by the man of principle/s. no grandstanding for good-sounding quotes/soundbites with teh SJW crowd.. cut this guy's ass now!

but don't listen to me. i routinely get Cs in my drafts and the highest i get is a B-. but then again that's just off of yahoo ranks and they don't, example, cover the hope that justin hunter becomes this year's justin blackmon or something.

so just keep on spending high draft picks on a RB1 even tho quarterbacks always have the most points in fantasy football THERE'S SO MANY OF THEM WITH ~250PTS ONLY IDIOTS WASTE THEIR PICKS ON THEM.... so i'll be that idiot getting 25-30/week more certainly than you'll be getting 15-20/+ a week from your RB1.

oh and people actually laughed at me for throwing a last round draft pick flier on lance dunbar, aka demarco murray's backup. if you haven't figured out that you're going to end up with at least a few weeks of the cowboys #1 RB by stashing demarco murray's backup welp go enjoy your A+ drafts or whatever it is you do.
