That is why I decided to take a month off from this. This morning I read the prosecutor said the charges if any will not come out of grand jury before October. Sounds like they need more time to sort all this shit so I will take time as well.

Yeah I have decided to do the same. Any information that doesn't involve the kid possessing a deadly weapon makes it unjustifiable. As long there isn't a story that has the kid in possession of a weapon it would be difficult to ascertain how the cop is not at least charged with manslaughter.

I heard 9 members of the grand jury are white and 3 are black. Darren Wilson has given statements in front of this grand jury before and unlike 99.9% of people he will be allowed to speak before them.

Yes. They aren't required to prove anything they say. You and I wouldn't be encouraged to speak and considering he has likely sat in front of this grand jury more than once it could possibly influence the jury.

Edit: His presence may scare witnesses or stop some from speaking before the grand jury too.

Normally, a grand jury only hears the prosecutions evidence and not the defense. They are only there to determine if enough evidence is available for charges to be filed.

By the prosecution allowing the possible defendant to testify at the Grand Jury, they are basically indicating that they do not want to bring charges at all.

By appearance, allowing the officer to testify at the grand jury is tantamount to the dead youth being the actual defendant in this case.

I think it's a bad idea that he testifies before the Grand jury. If there is anything he says before the Grand Jury that might aid in his prosecution it can be used against him later in a trial. He should keep his mouth shut for now and wait to see IF he is indicted. Ultimately, I think he will not be convicted, but he may be indicted. By the way, their department does not have tasers, for those who keep saying he should have used one instead of his gun.

You are correct. A Police officer is killed in the line of duty every 52 hours and has a life expectancy of 55 years old, they deserve a lot more credit and empathy than criticism. Most Officers are honest and good people.

In just a few days, supporters of Darren Wilson have raised over 300,000 dollars to aid the Police Officer who shot the criminal punk in Ferguson, Missouri. The money will aid the officer and his family as it is assumed that public pressure may lead to an indictment to placate the looting vandals there. The amount raised is over 50% more than that raised for the family of the thug who was shot while attempting to advance on Mr. Wilson to assault him a 2nd time.
