I love that this thread became a commentary on Dignified Rube but was quickly righted by Greg's learyism.

What's wrong with being opposed to people from a deviant sub-culture who can't procreate? It's funny how Bernstein calls God the "invisible man in the sky" in reference to any biblical condemnation of homosexuals, but in the same breath he tells Tony Dungy on air to go to hell for his comments on Michael Sam, which implies that there is a God capable of judging the unrighteous and sending them to an infernal place in eternity, which is where you will be going Bernstein.

I really hope you lit into that one guy who said he was hungry enough to eat a horse and then just ate a turkey sandwich instead.

Maybe you can get your wife to come on and defend your obsession with me again. That was fun.

Yes. One post mentioning you a week (in which I was kinda complimenting you) is an obsession.

Again, not too... bright. I'm so sorry for you.

Later gator!

There is no doubt. As I have said numerous tomes before, Terry is as conservative as one can be. Longtime Score listeners know this.
It is sad that Terry doesn't have the balls or the wear with all to maintain hi political views, because that would make B&B a much more interesting & engaging show.
This show was way better when TB Diddlers was open for business.
you rang? You're right about that no way in hell that Terry is a liberal. The old Boers was conversative. The gay drops, by cracky, the Ole "nigh" to signify anything with a sexual innuendo or gay pretext that's Terry Boers. He used to identify a lot with leading conservative types. This new progressive Boers is a smoke screen. Probably has surmised that the winds are not blowing with the other stuff and decided to reroute

"By cracky" is a signpost for conservative ideology? Now I've seen everything.

By cracky as I always interpreted it was a term that he would utter as a way of expressing homosexual innuendo. Maybe I'm wrong and maybe you have heard it all. He used to utter by cracky whenever something homosexually related was uttered.

He was also a lot more conservative when he was teamed with McNeil. His views were different. There is no doubt about it. I'm a Boers fan and he actually was funnier then but he was definitely not a liberal.

I've been hanging out! To further illustrate the point, there is no way in hell that the Terry Boers of the Heavy Fuel Crew along with Dan McNeil would ever ever ever ok a drop that says "dumb ass cracker". People as Scorehead alluded that go back with the station know this.

Apparently someone didn't get the memo that most of the posters on this message board would blow B&B at the same time if they were given the chance. How dare you come in and mock these Gods.

There are three pieces of evidence that the end of B&B took place:

1. When Dan's wife became a wedding planer. The Homer Simpson drop, and the other use of the word "gay" went away. Remember when Boer's was called "Weird and Gay?"

2. Changing the open of "Riddlin', Diddlin' and Country Fiddlin'."

3. Penn State.

Penn State was the preverbal straw that broke the camel's back. As soon as the show begun to take itself serious, it lost. It became what it was supposedly against.

Could not agree more with #3. I don't know how many times I called the "disease", Batacola, to tell him to get off of it already. He gave the standard answer that he gives to all criticism, well don't listen then. By far he is the most irritating person on the Score. He complains about Hawk not being good at his job. Hey, look in the mirror, pal. I'd rather listen to pink noise for hours than the disease preach political correctness. He's sort of Bernstein light, but with half the intellect.

Other points you could add are as follows. Feel free to add you own.

4. Dan's musings about chicken breasts or bacon.

5. Dumbass or Daredevil.

6. The Friday movie reviews with dead air time.

7. Shelving the "High Noon" music

8. The disease ever as a co-host or allowed to speak otherwise (actually this should be higher)

9. Weekly baseball segments with Len Kasper

A few more

10. Criticism of Ron Santo as broadcaster

11. Maintaining that LeBron is a top 5 NBA player of all time, when even Kobe has said Bird belongs in the top 5, calling him money.

12. Sucking up to Phil Emory after repeated bad drafts, when he has been as bad as Angelo

13. Being anti Ditka
