I think Im gonna get it. (Full disclosure: My brother in law no longer works there and Ill have to actually pay for it)

Madden ’15 was released today, which means it’s that time of year to evaluate the totally meaningless but nonetheless fun ratings of each player.

Receiver Brandon Marshall is the highest-rated Bears with a 96 rating, which ranks as the second-best receiver behind Calvin Johnson of the Lions. Marshall is followed by running back Matt Forte (95), kicker Robbie Gould (93), receiver Alshon Jeffery (91) and guard Matt Slauson (91). Quarterback Jay Cutler received an 86 rating, ranking as the 12th-best Bear.
Defenisvely, Madden ’15 predicts the Bears defensive line to be much improved, giving defensive endLamarr Houston an 89 and defensive end Jared Allen an 87. Cornerback Tim Jennings also got an 88.

Madden ’15 also reflects the concern that some Chicago fans have. Linebacker Shea McClellin, who’s in the running for a starting job, is pegged with a 67 rating. The top-rated safeties were Ryan Mundy (79), Chris Conte (74) and M.D. Jennings (74).
Of course, you should probably take Madden with a large, large grain of salt. The EA Sports website for Madden predicted “Michael Ford and Eric Weems can be a dangerous duo on the return team.” They’ve since been cut since that line was penned, but hey, it sounded good at the time

So do they do online updates with actual rosters?

Or is it like the old days and you just have the guys they thought would make the team?

They do updates and the ratings actually change (which is cool because it was annoying playing against an 84 RTG Adrian Peterson because Madden didnt know he'd be awesome like I did)

These kids these days who buy these games and they get roster updates...they don't know the struggle...I remember getting the old EA Sports games and spending hours/days trying to get the rosters just right.

I've been playing since midnight. This is by far the best graphics I've seen. Many of the features are similar to 14 but I'm loving the online play even if it costs me a few extra dollars.

I tried the Theo approach in franchise mode during some previous Madden and I was fired after only three years. Damn unrealistic fans who failed to attend my grand rebuilding project. My team was a stockpile of young assets.

I trade or release older players that have high salaries for draft picks. I focus on scouting and hit a few home runs in free agency with all my cap space.

What better time to buy Madden than January. Anybody on PS4 quit playing it months ago and want to trade me their gold+ cards? I'd really appreciate the boost.
