I watched the last episode last night. I really enjoyed it. Just a really good ensemble cast. Hank Azaria,
Ann-Margret, and Wendell Pierce as the new parole officer! I just really really like this show. That bitch
from Boston is gonna come and mess some shit up for Ray.

Ann-Margaret has had some work that looks good which is the exception.

She has to be 70 at least.

What a fox back in the day.

Ray is going to deep-dick her into submission.

Oh I see that happening without a doubt. His wife actually looked really good in the lingerie last week.

Best line I heard in a while was when Ray was staring at the picture of the FBI directors wife and
he asks what he was looking at. Ray says " Your mom"

Yeah, that was pretty cold.

Wasn't that the chick from 'Twin Peaks'?

Yes, Sherilyn Fenn. She has packed on some weight over the past few years.

Another very solid episode last night. Ray is definitely going to bang that reporter. Can I assume that
porn star was really someone in the industry? I don't really follow porn so I have no clue if Lexi Steel
is the real deal or not.

Another great episode this past Sunday. Everyone should watch this show. Shit is getting pretty complicated
for our good friend Ray but at least he is getting some nice Boston tail. I really love this character and show.

Great season so far.
Hank Azaria grabbing the chics boob has really opened up some crazy shit.

Also I'm pretty sure Bunchy is based on Bob in Niles.

One of the better episodes in the series and probably the best of this season this past Sunday. Just
watched it this morning and shit really hits the fan for almost everyone on the show. Just great.

Agreed - Conor's birthday party episode ranks right up there with Sopranos' Pine Barrens and Game of Thrones' Red Wedding.

Every character had something screwed up happen to them at that birthday party!

 "Conor wanted the family... he got the family!!!"

That ep was Directed by Ray Donovan himself.

I noticed that, he has been getting into a lot more of that. He's also the voice of Hard Knocks on HBO

It felt like the show finally reached its potential with that episode.

Good to hear you are on board. It's been a really good series in my mind. I wasn't really expecting that much from
it initially.

I liked it from the start. I just didn't think it was exceptional. That was an exceptional episode.

Thanks. I liked it from the start as well and thought they did a good job leading up to each progressive episode resulting in the first season's finale. Kind of wish they kept Sully around for a few more episodes but it ended pretty good all in all.

I am interested in this rap mogul Cookie gangster guy and how the story line will effect Ray. It looks like he is going to be involved up to his neck and it could be very sticky given all the dynamics involved - Marvin and his daughter to be precise. So far it is a great season - lots of stuff happening!

The new book writer dude is awesome. I used two quotes from him about half dozen times already.

"I'm paying you [insert an amount here], that makes me a family." and "Radical honesty, [insert a name here]!"

For the record, I do not condone any form of domestic violence... however, I can't believe Ray Donavon hasn't lost it on his wife yet! She has to be the dumbest woman alive. If there we any doubt - watch last night's episode.

Only two episodes left this season, that sure went quickly! Well, this was sort of a ho-hum episode but still
better than most programs on TV. Agent Cochran got a big surprise at dinner that is for sure. Ray really
is messing up his confirmation.

Things got a bit more interesting last night. I was disappointed that the episode was only like 45 minutes. They
left a lot of meat on the bone. I hope the finale is over an hour as there are a lot of things to straighten out.

Didn't it seem as though Ezra was trying to recruit Avi to take out Ray? Trying to convince him he was the Rodef?

Well the season wrapped up pretty nice and neatly for the most part, although all of the characters
are seriously damaged at this point. No idea where they go from here next season. It was a very
good Season 2 and one of my top shows on tv.

Definitely my favorite episode in the show's 2 years, but still, this show telegraphs itself unlike any other. As soon as Ray showed up at Cookie's and handed over his gun, I said to my wife, "I bet there's a gun in the bag." And I'm a freaking idiot.

My only complaint about last night's ep is that Bunchy didn't go out in a blaze of glory. God is that character terrible.

I feel like with the whole scorched earth theme of last night season three will revolve around people getting back at him.

Ray's wife might be the most annoying female person on television. Shorty was an awesome character. This show is okay. Voight and Schreiber are the only good performers. The boxer brother is good but I hated the dumbass Ireland subplot and that woman he is madly in love with is lame.

Just started watching this last night. Almost got through season 1.

I'm liking it. Ray's wife is way too much Carmela Soprano. Schreiber is great. Pretty cool seeing Starsky. Voigt is good.

I'm going to avoid reading the previous postings in this thread. I'm going to watch a lot more tonight.

It's back next weekend. Probably in my top 3 favorite shows. Ray is a bad ass. Looks like a good cast this season and Katie Holmes looking pretty nice.

Check out the season 3 trailer. Doesn't link directly.
