That one slipped my mind, but I would put it on the list. Absolutely beautiful concept album. Tragic Comic is Beatlesque.

This is more of a compilation really but Alice in Chains Unplugged remains one of my favorite albums.

Agreed. Some of the drum parts are ridiculously difficult.

Fuckin' right I am. That or maybe "Dance the Night Away" or "Right Now," but "Jump" is everything awesome about the '80s distilled into one song: fat synths, frontman swagger, and the Cubs on WGN.

Nirvana Unplugged in New York is pretty damned flawless. Cobain was just in the zone that night.

Yes! For that matter, Cheap Trick Live at Budokan is basically perfect.

For me, at least, Meddle has to be in the conversation.

I'll probably take some shit for this, but, REM Out of Time is one that needs to listened to from beginning to end for me.

I was thinking Panama too. Jump isn't in the conversation. It's ok I guess. But their best song? No.

The best single moment in VH's catalog is when Eruption ends and the opening riff to You Really Got Me Now starts.

Yeah, definitely. That was one of those moments when I was listening to the Loop in 2001 and I was like "fuck yeah, I have found classic rock."

I don't think anyone has mentioned Rumours yet. Which is good, because it shows that people realize no album can be perfect with "Oh Daddy" on it.

Yeah, I was a big fan of that performance. Also, a shoutout for Nirvana's Unplugged that someone else mentioned. These were two great performances from great frontmen that both died shortly after those recordings were made.

Van Morrison - Astral Weeks
Queens of the Stone Age - Songs For The Deaf
White Stripes - Elephant
Weezer - Blue Album
Black Keys - Brothers
The Cure - Disintegration

I'm with Disintegration being on there. Fantastic album. Lullaby, Love Song, Fascination Street....not a weak one on there.

Good production.

Not sure how I missed this thread in the past. Boy, this is a hard one. I think I'll just have to think about
it and when one pops up I could add to the thread. I am in the middle of listening to Quadrophenia by The
Who and this album would likely make my list. For a double album it's about as good as it gets, and I am
not the biggest fan of the band.
