I don't see a big deal about hiring scouts for site or bloggers. There have been a ton of people who got front office jobs over the years due to their fathers working in the business. Many unqualified people have run teams or have been scouts. There is a very good chance people who write about this stuff would not be any worse.

The biggest challenge Parks is going to face is he has to start making his own decisions. No more texting or emailing a scout from his home office to get a report on a player. He has to get off his butt to see a player, understand what he's looking at, form his own opinion and be able to argue that opinion. Good luck.

I think he was talking about the new violence rules in the NFL and all someone needs to do is "prove their innocence" if you are really innocent. That's what our system is based on.
