Terry isn't going anywhere for 3 years, Abattacola has no chance @ getting his seat..neither does Larry or Rozner. In 3 Years when Terry leaves, Mitch will probably be canned n a new guy will clean house .

It's one thing to write that. But he'll be pouting and bitching once he goes back to Bernstien. And the insults to his so called "friends", Pat and Matt, will be coming.

Yeah. He should. But by now he shouldn't expect support from Bernstein.

Still, I listened to the podcast of Bernstein introducing Mannelly, I thought Bernstein took a direct shot at drinky when he told Mannelly "YOU CAN'T TEACH SMART".

Bernstien was gushing over Mannelly knowing full well that his producer wanted it. And Bernstein never made mention of drinky or any of the other Score guys that tried out. He complimented Spiegel, but you would have thought he would have had some nice words for his long time producer who just lost the tryout. Bernstein didn't. Never even crossed his mind. That's Bernstein for you.

Just remember, Bernstein has already argued with Mannelly about locker room issues. Mannelly was claiming that distractions can matter and Bernstein was telling him that they don't.

If Mannelly is so "smart" then why argue with something he clearly has more experience with?

Where they would announce the new show on another show and not even have Spiegel call in. I know he was on vacation, but he couldn't have called in for a 15 minute conversation with his new partner for THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT?

And I know why they didn't announce it on the 9-1 show. Would have been very awkward for the losers, Rozner and drinky, to introduce the winner. At least Mitch realized that would have been very cruel.

Still, this entire thing was handled weird. Only THE SCORE.

Drinky has no place to go. At his age and what he does, he should have moved into a program director track by this time. He hasn't made it as a host, failed doing small comedy bits for B &B, and was not retained as Cubs reporter. He won't get a full time host gig, so he has to hope someone puts him in a management role or he's gone with the next PD.

This whole "you can't teach smart" is a line of bs. What is the value of ever referencing Duke if you didn't think smart could be taught?
