Just caught it on Sony Movie Channel. The original featuring O'B, Caan, etc.

I loved that movie. Seen it 200 times. I used to think Gale Sayers was the greatest guy ever. I loved Billy Dee Williams Gale Sayers.

But then I discovered Checkers! It's A Gas I Was Barry Sanders Before Barry Sanders Was Barry Sanders Gale Sayers and he was a tool.

He used to do gas station TV commercials.

They were fine. More annoying than tooly.

He was so insecure about it.

for a while, I thought it was just me.

Gale is a bad dude personality wise. I think there's crossed wires in his brain.

I caddied for Gale once and was pretty pumped about it. After 9 holes I wanted to wrap his putter
around his neck. A total asshole. At the end of the round I took one of his monogrammed golf
balls out of his bag which I have in my ball rack at home. Has his signature on it and number.

does gale sayers wear a special self-identifying hat like ernie banks does? i could see him doing that, tho it wouldn't be as benign as ernie doing it.

Thank Allah this wasn't another M&H thread.
