I'm going tomorrow.

Wish Castro and Rizzo were in the lineup but should still be enjoyable.

Tomorrow's high is something like 71° though...ick.

I'm ready to no longer see Carlos Villanueva pitch for the Cubs. You would think with the expanded rosters that they could throw someone else out there.

You mean someone that has better stats as a long / middle reliever than a guy with a 2.73 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, a 3:1 K/BB ratio?

Rondon has a 2.65 ERA, a 1.12 WHIP, a 4:1 K:BB ratio, and everyone loves him.

Those stat comparisons are not far off from each other.

I understand reading and thought are not your major strengths, and so I will be happy to walk you through this.

How about adding in the 11 runners he let score after coming in. 58% of runners he inherits score. Great reliever.

He's just a guy. Cubs have plenty of just guys that get paid pennies to get shelled. All long relievers are good for is innings. That's why they are long relievers. Edwin can eat innings and lose games, too.

19 is not a large sample size of inherited runners in a major league baseball season. He is normally a guy that would come in to start an inning, when Edwin Jackson bombs. Of course, when Edwin Jackson cannot even finish the fifth and leaves with bases loaded and no one out...you know...the team is probably going to score that inning.

As a reliever, Carlos Villanueva has been fine. There is lower hanging fruit if you want to complain about things.

So Josh Harrison is from the Cubs? It seems every now and than, the Cubs run into former pieces who are doing good elsewhere.

Well, that worked out great!

You know Olt has had a rough year when he goes 3 for 3 and raises his average to .154.
