What other radio shows do you find yourself turning to when MJH's antics wear, uh, thin?

For me it depends on my mood.

Sometimes when its over the top I even go away from sports talk and tune in John Williams/Steve Cochran or Roe Conn.

Honestly I love the Bears but Mondays even after victories can be fullof such stupidity I have to listen to anything but it.

I used to be a devote B&B listener but got disgusted with some of their stuff and started listening to MJ&H and find I like them both and a lot depends on what I'm in the mood for.

I find the shows both equally good but very different.

The CD player my good man.
I listen to my own work or maybe some other lesser known bands, like the Rolling Stones

I pop in the tape of the show celebrating Mac's 25th Year in Sports Radio. I can't get enough of Jud Sirott's phone message.

Almost never B&B.

On CD Rush, Metallica, or Nickelback (might catch flack for that one).

On other talk radio... Micheal Savage on 560 am for politics. (starts at 5)

Hey, a Nickelback fan. My gf asked this the other day while watching Bears Lions:

is the band named after the football defender, kinda how Pearl Jam's name is inspired by that band's love of the NBA?

I had to look it up cuz while I like their music I'm not really a groupie of theirs. But hey your girlfriend is worth it... I hope ;)

The name idea came from the nickel in change that band member Mike Kroeger often had to give customers in his previous job at Starbucks, when he would say, "Here's your nickel back".
