Ill up it to "coworkers talking about anything" on a Monday morning. I have one who ONLY asks questions, because she wants to talk about her bullshit in return. I give one word answers whenever possible. I cannot stand this woman.

I was at a family party yesterday (who schedule's a birthday party for a 1 year old during a Bears game? But I digress...). Anyway, there's this dude there who is sitting on the couch with a tablet, and constantly refreshing to see his updated fantasy stats. The only thing out of his mouth was fantasy football related during the entire time I was there. He never put the tablet down, and he even had one of those things that your hand can slide into so you can keep hold of the tablet. He might be the worst person I have ever met in my life.

I hate that guy so much.

I saw a guy walking and reading his phone nearly plow into a group of tourists around 550pm yesterday.

Those 3 o clock games always tell the tale!

Probably better than fawning over a drooling 1 year old who doesn't know whats going on.

I quit fantasy football 4 or 5 years ago and never looked back. I used to get pretty consumed with it.

I'm ready to give it up. I'm in two leagues. One I can give up without thinking twice. The other one would be much more difficult. It's nine of my HS buddies and me, so for some of them, the golf outing and draft is the only time we see each other all year.

I didn't play this year, but my wife did. She won her first game yesterday by like 80 points. She knows nothing about football.

That's why I quit playing.

I'm for no talking to/by anyone about anything until after 10am at the earliest.

At the very least, eliminate the pointless and perfunctory "good morning".

Get rid of the "how was your weekend" too!

Football is the easiest of any of the sports. You only have to draft for about 33% of the positions. Why not make it so every position needs to be drafted?

Team Defense?

The draft is the best part about fantasy. A great opportunity to day drink on a weekend with the guys. After that it's all downhill.

Fantasy used to mean a lot but that's before I started gambling. Much much better.

Playing FF was starting to take some of the fun out of watching football for me. I was more focused on whether or not my receivers were making catches (and getting aggravated if they weren't being targeted), whether or not my running backs were getting touches, or if my defenders were making or missing tackles, picks, etc., and not really enjoying the games for what they were. Having to check injury reports on Sunday morning was getting kind of tiresome, too.

It made me lose my football twinkle.

FF is 98% luck.

It's pretty bad when the guys you draft aren't necessarily good; they just have to be on a team where they get the ball a lot. Or when you lose points because some idiot coach decided to pass on 1st and 1 from the 1.

i got out of the money leagues and now just do a few with people a few sets of friends. its much easier to enjoy the game but still allows me the ability to keep interest in most of the games.
