The thing about Cutler is all his numbers are going to look right. You will be able to take them and argue that he is an elite quarterback. But if you're actually watching his teams and paying attention, you know he's a fucking loser. Still, the door will always be open for apologists to spout his quarterback rating and blame everyone and everything else for the losses.

I have to disagree there. His numbers cant really be used for elite or anything close. He's consistently just 12th-15th in QB rating

He was 8th last season in Total QBR. Seventh if you want to take out the guy who was on his own team and ranked number 1.

That stat is ridiculous

Traditional QB rating
2013: 13th
2012: 20th
2011: 13th
2010: 16th
2009: 21st
2008: 16th
2007: 12th

I don't have anything to say in this. Cutler deserves every bit of criticism he gets from todays game. One stupid throw after another. He probably should have had 2 or 3 more picks.
Pretty much 100% agree. The offense moved the ball pretty good at times, but there was a lot stupid decisions made. Fumbles and the second INT are flat out inexcusable.

I thought Trestman made some terrible decisions early in the game too. Its the fucking Buffalo Bills, and you just went 60some yards in 5 plays to get a TD. Why in the world would you call a flea flicker or some of the other gadget/trick plays that early in the game?

The only positive really is that its not an NFC or a division loss. Some tough games coming up though. Obviously I thought they would beat the Bills but if they can be 2-2 at the end of Sept I would be ok with that, and 2-2 wouldn't totally kill them in the early part of the division/playoff hunt.

Correct. His numbers suck AND he sucks for real.

And I have to say, I dont care if Bennnet ran the wrong route or read on that first pick. That's all part of the QB's job, keeping everyone on the same page, etc.

But thrice a year he'll make a highlight type throw

Every game it becomes more obvious why he was sent to football Siberia.

It all evens out. One of the things not many people talk about is how Marshall and Jeffrey are great at bailing out his bad throws. If they don't catch it they certainly aren't going to let the defender grab it.

That list says that Brady and Stafford make $2 million. That's not even close to reality, even in Scorehead's world.

Jay Cutler is the highest paid QB in the NFL.

The list is just base salaries which doesn't tell the whole story. Notice how Aaron Rodgers is 40th at $900K? You need to include bonuses as well.

The 1st year of contracts are weird too as there are lump sum signing bonuses and such.

That is why it is better to look at cap hits. That equals it out pretty well.

Hey, at least we don't have Sam Bradford!

WRONG. That only happened to Josh Mccown.

That's the base salary. Click on their name and it gets more specific.

Jay makes $18.5 million this year.
Brady makes $14.8 million.
Stafford makes $15.82.
For fun, Peyton makes $17.5 million.

I was out of town.

Glad I missed it. And it looks like we will have some extra Sunday afternoons free this season now.

Let me know which QB on that list is getting paid more money than Cutler this year.

6 of their remaining 15 games are not on Sunday afternoon, and I would think one of the division games later in the year may be flexed to Sunday night.

Love Jays dismissiveness in the post game presser too. Guess the average fan or media member has to understand whats going on in the huddle / understand what they're trying to do to have an informed opinion on a late throw across the middle that results in an interception. Fuck Kyle Long too.

I caught some 49ers9ers-Cowboys in the bar at Reagan National.

We have plans now for next Sunday night.

Diabetes can, in fact, affect vision and peripheral vision in particular.

Why haven't the Cutler apologists latched onto that one?
