People should be comfortable when they go home." It was an honest statement. The idea of living next to a black person (regardless of what type of person or family it is) makes some/many uncomfortable or it makes them afraid. They feel safer around people who look and talk like them. I completely understand that feeling. It's probably a natural feeling.

The issue I had with the statement is the person who made it and many people who say similar things are rarely if ever around a black person. They didn't grow up around any. Didn't go to school with any. Don't work with any but they still have these strong feelings. Some may have had a bad experience or know someone who had one and after reading or watching the news they believe that all black people are the same way.
