Anybody know of a store near the far west side that still has Mars in stock? Struck out 4 times both around here and up by work.

I really wish we could buy New Glarus down here. What few flavors I've had were great.

Yeah there's something mildly un-american about pulling back and purposely limiting their reach. I personally think they're one of the great brewers in the US and maybe the best in the Midwest. Either way, the Woodman's in Kenosha isn't far.

Yeah. The only place remotely close to where I frequent (home / work) that had it listed had already run out. Found some KBS through that site about a month ago.

Made my way to Minneapolis' famed Town Hall Brewing Company and got my hands on some Masala Mama.

What is the best mass produced bottled pumpkin beer?

It seems like Southern Tier Pumpking is considered the best.

Schlafly's Pumpkin Ale may not be mass produced, per se, but it's fairly far-reaching. Pretty sure they distribute to NY.

Avery out of Boulder does Rumpkin that's pretty tasty - aged in rum barrels.

I'm a huge Pumking fan. Some people enjoy Punkin by Dogfish, but I personally don't like the flavor

I'm a fan of Big Muddy Brewing's Pumpkin Smasher (I think that's the name of it). Pumpking is also SOLID.

I drank some outstanding beers from Wormtown Brewery (Worcester, MA) this weekend.

The Be Hoppy IPA is a top-tier brew that packs a nice grapefruit wallop. I also enjoyed Hopulence, a very pine-y DIPA.

Definitely looking forward to trying some more Wormtown beers in the future. Based on my initial forays, I suspect that Wormtown may be the best brewer going in MA right now.

In my estimation, the reviews are a little off: Hopulence is at least as good as the excellent Be Hoppy.

Had Warlock this weekend and enjoyed. Still a sucker for Pumking, but it's a different beer.

This is what I went with. Pretty good. First pumpkin beer I have really liked in a bottle. Before that I only liked it on draft from local breweries.

Tried Another One IPA from Maine Beer Company last night. While it's not quite as magical as Lunch IPA, it's still quite good. Nice creamy head, significant citrus, decent hop punch. I'd rank it a notch below the Be Hoppy IPA from Wormtown Brewery, which I mentioned in a previous post. Be Hoppy will likely be my go-to IPA for the fall.
