You could have made this nomination when they were offering spicy brown mustard.

I was thinking about Subway the other day when I saw a commercial on TV. I have never met a single person who has said they like Subway. Never. I have no idea how they are so successful, and offer such a shit product. I'd rather eat Arby's every day for a year, than set foot in Subway.

Every 6 months or so I convince myself to try it again. I'm always disappointed.

I live in the land of deli's every half mile though so I don't really have to ever go there. If I lived my whole life in Rockford like spmack I'm sure it would be the best option.

I bet Subway was losing too much money giving away all that free extra mustard to cops.

An Indianapolis man whose favorite condiment was killed in a discontinuation inside their local Subway in September broke down in court Wednesday while describing the scene.

"I was was crying and screaming," Jared Fogel said about his favorite condiment, Spicy Brown Mustard, during the first day of testimony in the trial of the company accused of the discontinuation.

Subway Co., 49, of Milford, Connecticut, is charged with the murder of its beloved condiment, Spicy Brown Mustard, 600. Subway is being tried at the Will County courthouse in Joliet.

You could have made this nomination just because their sandwiches are terrible.

I will drive 12 minutes to Augustino's, before I go a few blocks to Subway.

Arby's is awful, but that doesn't make Subway any better.

I Gaggled it and the scenario is that the owner needs to carry 2 of the 3 mustard options. Yellow Mustard or Honey Mustard.

Mmmmmmm

I think we're all missing the larger point in that mustard is awful. Mods, please delete this thread.

You can east all the Arbys you want. I would rather eat Arbys all week, but I will stick with a 6 inch veggie or turkey w veggies.

I haven't eaten at Arby's in at least ten years. I would choose a Spicy Italian from Subway over Arby's.

It's a cheap sandwich, and the bread will fill you up. You can load up on hot peppers, black olives, and oil and vinegar, to make the sandwich edible.

Yea, especially on road trips where you had Burger King for breakfast and Taco Bell for lunch so you think to yourself you need something "healthy" for dinner.

They have good marketing in tricking everyone they're healthy food but then you later find out they have plastic chemicals in their bread.

I believe bigfan once told me how great it was to have all these great food choices within walking distance because of his big city living.

I'm just thankful I can drive right past subway.

If i was home, would have walked to Salt and Pepper for a chopped salad. I wasnt. But could have had many different taco options.

Subway is like Mcdonalds in terms of the fact I never go out to get a Subway or a McDonalds, but will eat them if hungry and its right there. Will eat a Subway over a McD's, Arbys, Wendys or BK, if all are the choice at the time.

I went to Subway about 8-9 months ago and the bread was ridiculously stale. Come the fuck on, that is the one thing that should not be happening there. Have not been back since.

As for Rockford delis, young Furious first learned about the sub sandwich at the venerable Pete’s Meats near Boylan High School. That place was solid. Big mistake hitting up Pete’s senior year between soccer double sessions. Even bigger mistake hitting up 25-cent beers across the border in Beloit one day between practices. 5-6 of us were basically shitfaced for the 2nd one.
