So if they had won last week (as basically expected) and got their ass beat this week (as basically expected), versus doing the opposite each week (as they have), what difference would that make on the outlook of this team? For that matter, what the hell is the outlook for this team after week 2?

Ultimately its not going to matter especially with all these injuries but this was a really nice win for them. Congrats.

They are a contender if this defense holds up.

The Bears have one of the best pass blocking offensive lines in the league even with a couple starters out. Cutler was HUGE and the defense has only given up 23 points that didn't come off turnovers in 2 games.

As always, Cutler plays his best when he doesnt try and do too much and takes what the D gives him . His game would be better if he considered himself a game manager rather than trying to be Brett Favre all the time.

Nobody wants to say it, but as Tillman (a guy I have always liked), Ratliff and the other vets got out of there the defense got better. Maybe Kaep just got worse, that's a possibility, but the best thing for the defense might have been those injuries. We will find out as time goes on.

Ratliff was playing well tonight. That line needs him to be healthy.

Ratliff seemed to be having a pretty good game.
