Hub's main concern is that there is a chance that if Peterson gets a not guilty verdict, then he can go back and sue the NFL for suspending him for the year while the trial was underway. The problem is that the NFL does not have to set the bar at the same level as the US Legal system. In fact, they don't -- in the CBA, there's language specifying that players will be expected to behave even better than that at which the average citizen is required.

There's actionable evidence that indicates Peterson has performed these acts, including his own confession. The NFL is free to proceed how they would like at this point -- there is no requirement for due process. As long as there is some fact checking done, the NFL should be in the clear with the CBA backing it up. It is a different matter altogether if say there was a DUI arrest for Brandon Marshall, and so you immediately suspend him from Monday's game and withhold a pay check, but then find out later that it was some white guy from Topeka named Brandon Marshall. That's not the the case here.

One year olds are vicious animals though. I think it is ingrained behavior. We dont hit and the twins dont watch anything but Disney Jr or Nick Jr. But if one of them takes the others toy, it is like a heavyweight bout. We sometimes have to pry them off each other. Slapping, scratching, biting, hair pulling, kicking, screaming... They are like the Tasmanian Devil from Looney Tunes.
