This press conference cannot be defended.

For one, it never had to happen.

Ultimately, what was the point? He was disparaging the girlfriend he abused and discussing openly on multiple occasions his entire family's history of sexual abuse. There was no reason for him to discuss any of this. Nobody was talking about Brandon Marshall.

His only main point seems to be "don't rush to judgment on Ray Rice or Hardy or any of these guys being accused". Is that a message that needs to get out there right now?
