Common Sense was so good. Common well that guy is an actor now. Gotta say Be was likely his best work IMHO which means nothing. Talented dude like Rakim who will never get the true respect he deserves. I would add Chuck D to that list but Clockers taught me otherwise. Scarface too. Hell even ONYX All We Got Iz Us should be more respected over that slam bacda album

There's been a decent amount of Common discussion here if you look around the music section

I think Resurrection is his best but most here say Be or LWFC

Rakim was at Abbey Pub this past Friday. I think he gets enough love. He (and LL) changed the whole game

During Common's set, he brought out a previously teased "very special guest": Hometown hero Kanye West, who bounded out to do "Get Em High" with Common, plus songs like "Jesus Walks", "Can't Tell Me Nothing", "Power", "All of the Lights", and more

Yeah, we dropped the ball here. It was pretty much known on friday

Twitter's a flutter, too. Aahh! Fest media sponsor Jet Magazine tweeted: "Kan ye guess who the "special guest" is for the #AAHHFEST?"

Another tweet says that comedian Dave Chappelle, slated to host the fest, said at a Thursday show in San Francisco that he would be with Kanye Sunday.

And Common hints: it is “one of the most incredibly talented and gifted people I know.”

Fuck, what were tickets like 30 dollars?

That sucks cause I do want to see Kanye and Common. I blame Lupe. If I liked him as much as I did a few years back I woulda been there for sure.
