I thnk every kid at our school has had them but mine. It is only a matter of time. What do I do? This is going to be a nightmare. Back in the day when a kid got lice you'd just put bug killer shampoo in their hair and the lice died. Now you apparently can't buy poisonous shampoo anymore.

My kids' good friends had it. They lady at Silky strands said fairytales and babo have good shampoo and spray you can use. I've been checking them and running a little olive oil through their hair before showers. I'm also looking to order clear lice shampoo. I would have to burn my house down and get rid of everything we owned. Freaks me out!!

I had a daughter get it a couple years ago.

Best thing we found was after washing her head each morning to spend a long time using a blow dryer on it. The heat kills them.

None of the "home remedies" did anything but make a mess.

Lice in the home is not even that difficult to get rid of from what Ive heard. I mean you might have to call an exterminator but they get em.


Bed Bugs are the true "Fuck we have to move now" threat. Exterminators STILL dont have a great way of getting rid of them.

We had a scare in an apartment complex I lived in (different building) a few years back and I was freaking out. Those fucking things ruin lives
