As someone who went to college in Dubuque, everything in East Dubuque is trashily awesome. Galena is trashily terrible.

Mason City representin'! My buddy is from there actually. When I was 20, there was a small strip club a half hour from us called the Petting Zoo. It was in an old barn. The strippers had to use their own money for the jukebox. It was also a BYOB. We get out of our car and see two other cars in the parking lot, both of which had child seats in the back. One of the strippers was lactating, and warned us of such. I won't ever forget that night.

Got in late Friday night and thought about going to The Admiral, but the prices were too damn high. I wanna say it was $35 just to get in.

I was in a strip club a couple weeks ago with a buddy who was in town on business. It was pretty boring.

For giggles, I asked two of the strippers lobbying for a lap dance what it would cost for a happy ending. One got offended and walked away, and the other immediately said "150." The contrast in their responses was striking.

It will be the basis for my next book "Rich Whore, Poor Whore."
