They might win a title they might not. Im confident that they'll be a lot better over the next three years than the last three

It seems you want one of two answers

The Cubs will FOR SURE win a World Series and this plan has been perfect

or

Theo is an evil liar and the Cubs will never win anything

I know I shouldn't even mention them, but earlier you made a case that as of right now the White Sox and Cubs have the same exact chance of winning a future World Series in your lifetime.

This is just amazing to me. The Cubs built a whole plan around extended losing and they couldn't even jump over a team who is pretty much floundering and finally is showing a tiny bit of life?

My statement about a 30% chance is pretty much my default position on all teams.

If I really thought about it, it might be slightly different

My point was I am in no way sure of a title in my lifetime

I am just glad we could get this discussion to another part of the board, the other 9 just weren't quite enough.
