Recall, I said you were rising in my internal poll yesterday. Jorr has fallen so far I barely respond to him anymore. I had enough after the Israel/Hamas thing. I think it's unreasonable and unnecessary to suck for 105 years before anybody gets hired with something resembling a plan. Hendry's "open checkbook" plan didn't seem to work and is part of the reason that this plan is now in place.

MacPhail's plan is similar to what is here now but not nearly as extreme.

Dallas Green's "Let's Be the Phillies" plan worked in the short-term until he ran out of old Phillies.

I doubt that they even had a plan I could make up in the 40 years before that.

Not sure why it is ever called "THEOS PLAN"...it's pretty much every team in pro sports wants to build with youth and then fill in with free agents as needed.

I'm not convinced this continued suckage was even his original plan. I think he wanted to spend some money sooner but the Ricketts told him to fuck off so he had to do a lot of this on the fly.
