When you're right, you're right.

Black-ish had a few amusing moments, but that was about it imo.

I had no doubt you would like Portlandia.

My son has done summer camps at second city the last couple of years. He says everyone carries around head shots and talks about how they want to be in entertainment. I can see why comedy dies when it is the product of Latin and Parker grads.

Seinfeld thrived because it was Jerry and Larry, it was predicicted to fail. Nobody cared about it, they didnt want their name attached to it. I think they did 4 epsiodes.

They didnt get a team of Ivy League grads explaining FUNNY

My white guilt made me sit thru the entire episode. Luckily, I overcame said guilt after 30 minutes and shan't be watching this again.

Absolutely wrong.

I'm mostly with Zack here. Also, The Goldberg's is terrible.

First, there's no apostrophe in the title. The Goldberg's what?

Second, you are dead to me.

Third Rock from the Sun was just terrible. No redeeming qualities.

Any child from the 80s should find at least some enjoyment from The Goldbergs.

Also, just like with all shows, you can't judge it based solely on season 1. Some of the greatest sitcoms of all time weren't that good in year 1.

Great point.

Many would have shat all over the Seinfeld pilot

More bad thoughts.

John Lithgow was incredible on this show, and his numerous Emmy's are proof of its greatness. The rest of the cast was also SOLID.

I gave Blackish about 5 minutes more than I gave Scorpion,so it should be honored. I remember Anthony Adams when he was the "fat, funny guy" in some Jet Li movie. This show might be a little "suburgatory" in it's presentation. It's trying to be too many types of funny at once. So far,I have tried to watch 3 new shows this season. One was worse than the other. So a big FU to Laura Mars,Scorpion & now Blackish.

John Lithgow is awesome and he couldnt save the show. Thats the problem. The tranny and French Stewart are solid waste.

But Jimmy Fallons imitation of Stewart was golden!

John Lithgow was nominated for best actor in a comedy every season this show was on the air, and won the award 3 times.

Kevin James was nominated once in 9 seasons, and didn't win.

The academy and Douchebag understand greatness.

You need to take back your King of Queens hate, that just bothers me.

For some reason I just read that hearing Paul Mooney portraying "Negrodamus" on the old Dave Chappelle show.

Maybe because I didn't watch much of it but I don't get the Seinfeld love. Maybe I need to watch more of it.

Lithgow was the only good thing on 3rd Rock.

Malcolm in the Middle was an abomination. Caller Bob mom (possible Mt Rushmore for worst tv character), annoying kids, and dumbass dad. It's what caused me to despise Cranston until I started getting into Breaking Bad.

That 70s Show had too many annoying characters for me. Every joke was a snarky quip.

Even Seinfeld, which is a GOAT, labored in the early seasons.

Any person who creates, works for, or watches a sitcom televised on CBS, NBC, ABC, or Fox should be smothered with a pillow in their sleep and atomized into nothingness so that their stupidity cannot infect the populace.
