Rice's David Bailiff commented that ND tackled better than he'd hoped. Thank God, poor tackling has been an issue in some of the lesser performances of Kelly's teams.

ND was getting excellent penetration from Sheldon Day, very disruptive. This is the guy to watch against the UM offense. A junior -- this team returns a championship calibre group for 2015, look out.

With Golson and Malik Zaire, ND has one of the more solid 1 -2 QB situations in college football. Golson has bulked up and as you saw on Saturday, the added weight hasn't slowed him down at all. Three rushing TD's and 2 passing.

Shut out Michigan to close out that series. Looked good again. Watch your back FSU.
