Today we got the Dan narrative "Yes, they're bad and Cutler is Cutler but losing at home to GB doesn't matter at this point in the season." Quite the Jed mind trick. In other words, "These aren't the droids you're looking for." He even threw in Lovie's catch phrase as a kicker to justify his thought by saying the season's just a quarter over.

At least B&B went after Marshall today. Agreed, he's hard to root for.

They lost to a division opponent at home in an NFL season that has only 16 regular season games.

It matters, every game matters.

This is dumbass BernSTINE being dumb, he says this shit about baseball, which has 162 games, all the time.

He's an idiot.

Losing gets them closer to a Super Bow......wait
It is too early in the season to matter because weather and home field doesn't matter....when watching from home.
OK, but Cutler didn't lose this game....that was the fault of the real bad guy, Marshall
Well, I got asked the smartest of questions by an astute fan about why they don't put up a graphic saying "flags" when there are more than one on the field?....It doesn't matter if there is one or many? Yeah, that makes perfect sense.

Well, these have been the smartest and bestest callers ever to call this show...So Jonathan Bostic, what do you hear on twitter during a game?

Bernstein is a walking contradiction. How many times yesterday did he say how Emery and the Bears spent millions of dollars on defensive personnel to stop Rodgers for this game? Then he talks out the other side of his mouth by saying it doesn't matter.

Prime fodder for WYC.

Agreed...it's the baseball equivalent of the Cubs losing 10 straight games to the Cardinals.

Maybe I wasn't listening that closely, but I thought he said that was his son's smart question. Either way, it didn't seem very smart.

He did throw in a stealthy "my son's school has field turf" though. Budget for CPS is large I guess?

You heard correctly, and it was a question posed to him last Monday night.

Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't.

Not to be an anal, nitpicky douche, but "Field turf" is a company and brand name. CPS has been using artificial turf for over 40 years on their athletic fields, but they are not a Field Turf customer.

You're referencing someone who chides bad callers for saying "we" but lets it slide for "Very Smart" callers. You can't be too anal and nitpicky.

Lol if you played at Gately in the 80's you know that was green concrete. Probably better now.

Gately was far better than Hansen was.

I swear Hansen was just turf rolled over a parking lot.

The Turf at Gately was finally replaced about three years ago.

Listening yesterday in my car long enough for Dan to glorify his 9 year old son again:

"Daddy,Why don't they show flag's on the screen instead of flag when there are more than one?"

The Listening audience must be thinking "Wow,Bernstein's kid is incredibly bright and perceptive."

Doesn't Boers have like 3 grown sons? I guess they must all be big country rubes, because Boers never says anything about them.

The beginning of the end for me with B&B was the Bernsie son stories. I recall it starting when the Blackhawks were first doing well, and Bernsie would be "between the pipes" while his young took slap shots at him. Each reference got more annoying solely because it was coming from an insensitive Dbag like Bernsie.

-Don't enjoy your playoff appearance.
-Why do you cheer for college sports?
-Regular season games don't matter.
-You're an idiot.
-Oh, and my son likes hockey.

your son's amazing idea about "why don't they put flagSSSSSSSSS" instead of flag when there was multiple was easily made a very stupid idea by a hs football ref.
