SeaTac? Isn't that the place with the $15 minimum wage?

Maybe that's why the wings were $50 for 8. :D

We had our 2014 fantasy draft at this one, and I thought the food was good. Of course, I'm also fighting off a 3rd chin, so I'm not exactly picky.

I looked up Shelia Pinkerton on FB just now. At most she's a 4, which means she's a 1.5 on the IMU scale.

Anyway...with respect to Fox and Hound, I think it is fine. Overall, it is a good place. I usually go with boneless wings or a burger, and they don't disappoint.

I find Pop's to be worse, and Bulldog's was fine (but wasn't their Top Golf machine broken or something?). Good draft beer selection though.

Old Crow isn't much of a sports bar. Though I'm fairly sure we had Fireball on tap at our table.

But I'm not picky. In the suburbs, the best sports bar isn't much better than the worst sports bar.

There is a big difference between a bar and a bar and grill. I've been to plenty of bars where if you want food you have to buy a pizza and bring it in. I get that you don't go to a bar looking to have a life changing meal.

So, basically, the board consensus of Fox and Hound is "It's fine. It's ok. Going there is a definitely an average experience". I wish I had known. I missed out on Cooper's Hawk for this place!

It's funny to me that you thought it was more than that. That's why this nomination was funny. I don't remember anybody being like "Hey guys this is a great place for a married couple to go have a meal!"

If I'm at SeaTac, it's Ivar's or nothing at all.

In fact...it would be sort of depressing to see a married couple there doing anything short of watching a sporting event with several of their closest friends.

I know. That was my mistake. I assumed a place where you guys were choosing to go to often was a place that was worth going to.

It turns out that it was simply a place that served beer and was therefore chosen because "it exists". Turns out that Fox and Hound is basically like Subway. Why did you go there? It is there and it provides a base level of services.

I know in the future to avoid following in the footsteps of the "Baez strikeout watching" club.

I have never seen Baez strikeout while I was at a Fox and Hound.

IMU getting defensive.

How depressing. That man is at a sports bar with his wife!

What's more offensively un-Chicago: the celebration of an Olive Garden, or the fact that a major north-south arterial is named after Central Park?

EDIT: I'll just be honest and say I originally got confused and said Central Park Avenue ran east-west, which would have put this Olive Garden at the corner of 3600N and 3600N, making it the putative favorite dining spot of Jason Goff.

Defensive?

I like Fox and Hound. Even though it may not be everything you hoped for, it is better than other places and I'm 2 minutes away driving from the Arlington Heights location, and for the past 2 years I was a one minute walk away from the Schaumburg location.

It is ideal for me, and others that also live close.

If I was with your wife...I'd take her out somewhere nice. Maybe for some meat.

They should have this as their new marketing campaign!

Fox And Hound: It's close to my house!

LOL....its even funnier that you are serious...The Taco Bell by my place is much better than the one on Clybourn!

Central Park at least on the south side runs N-S.
