those things have been in development for 30 years. nothing but money pits until computer processing technology finally became powerful enough for turbo-fan hovercraft to work....

ebola is nothing. watch the virus documentaries and new science shows that explain something like ebola only far more contagious is likely to hit someday. who knows when, or even if its natural.

We should ignore the Ebola and talk about Obama, because there is no way he could have done anything months ago to help prevent the vast spread of a deadly disease.

They couldn't "contain" it in July. The only way to contain it is create a vaccine that can be mass produced or to prevent people that have been to Africa from entering our country. I don't think this will be a major issue in this country.

Ebola isn't an airborne virus. It can only be spread through bodily fluids. The virus spreads when blood, semen, urine, vomit, feces, or other bodily fluids of an infected person come into contact with someone else’s mucus membranes. That's the only way this works.

And it’s not just any infected person—it’s a symptomatic infected person. People can only catch Ebola from someone actually exhibiting symptoms. Those include vomiting, diarrhea, and, in some cases, hemorrhaging of mucus membranes, such as the nose, nail beds and eyes — in other words, pretty hard to miss.

Nearly every hospital in the US is equipped to treat Ebola patients and keep them in isolation. And the symptoms, once they set in, are so aggressive that it’s hard to do much of anything except head to the hospital ... even if you had been on your way to Jimmy John's.

This isn't, say, Liberia where their hospitals are literally turning patients away and are nearly out of things like rubber gloves ... and where they just dump dozens of dead bodies right outside of some village in an open grave.
