Where dannys thoughts fall apart is, that nobody has been harsher on the cubs than G Witt! he rips them at every chance.

Then he actually says something is OK, specifically Bryant not being upset about being brought up. Gordon talks about speaking to Bryant and the cubs about it. Would the kid have liked to have been called up, sure, but he is in now way upset about it. Bryant went around the country collecting some minor league player of the year awards, then went home to crash in his room at his parents house.

He fully understood why he wasnt called up and accepted it.

Dan claims that Bryant is upset about it. This is exactly why G Witt told danny to 'Kiss his ass" and now Danny is focused on ripping Gordon about not undertanding "The Plan"

Sounds like the way some around here argue. Change the issue and then focus on that.

C1zd1fwHLQ Taken in combination it seems Bernstein is trying to put words into Wittenmyer's mouth, although G Witt may have an axe to grind, that is also his job. I also listened to the podcast from transition (45 second in) and G Witt calls him out directly for questioning his credibility and questions Danny's. It took Bernstein a full minute to have anything to say, at which point he just says "its a bit, WWE stuff."

Many here have questioned the veracity of B&B's sources, others around town seem to know much better. When someone comes onto your station and calls you out, the least you should be able to do is something more than meekly deflect. The insinuation becomes clear--if not valid--by the poor response.

As a listener it would be nice if occasionally they had on someone who could verify or support their claims, whether that be an assistant GM, a marketing executive, a staff accountant, or the assistant to the receptionist. The lead cheerleader, the team's announcer, does not qualify.
