Are you sure? I think he only played 2 games (possibly 3) at the Metro Centre.

He's been kind of quiet because Cam Barker lit him up in practice. I think his shoulder is hurt. Better to take a hit from Cam Barker in practice than some misplaced cumstain from St. Louis in a real game, I suppose.

He just turned 20 a few weeks ago and he's had barely any time on North American ice. He won't make the team out of camp but he'll be up by Thanksgiving, I'm sure. Still gotta wait and see how the cap situation turns out. Klas Dahlbeck, big Swedish kid, just got called back up from Rockford, so it sounds like there's some LTIR skulduggery in the works.

He's going to be really good, but the depth chart is a little stopped up at this time. I don't think he's fated to be an NHL center like the team wants him to be, but then I admit to having a bit of a bias against little guys at center. I'm still not sold on Shaw at center when he's more effective at wing and we have four other centers on the roster.

What's kind of crazy is that as young as he is, he's still getting lapped in service time by many other 2012 draft picks. That draft is looking SOLID.
