they built the fucking team around Cutler. They hired the COACH for Cutler. He is not top-5 QB, nor will he ever be. it is a total failure.

I didn't think the plan was to have an offense that is never allowed to make a mistake. I'm against that plan.

I thought the defense and special teams were supposed to be somewhat adequate.

But, now understanding that the plan is a perfect offense and horrible, horrible defense and special teams, I'm not for it. Seems 1/3 of the plan is unsustainable and 2/3 is very sustainable.

Bears are averaging exactly 20 PPG. It's one thing to never make a mistake, it's another to average 2 touchdowns and two field goals.

The Bears spend very little on defense compared to most of the league. The defense is bad but that is what happens when you stock your offense like they have.

If the Bears lose, it's party time for all of the QB haters. No matter how the game actually plays out, it's always Jay Cutler's fault. Everybody pile on the QB. Hell, he had 3 TD's halfway through the 2nd Q and I still heard people bitching about the 1 INT instead.

Nevermind that the defense is terrible and has no idea where the opposing QB is.
Nevermind that the defense has given up 92 points in their 3 losses (31 yesterday to a team without a WR or a RB).
Nevermind that Green Bay scored 38 points in 3 quarters last week and never punted, it was Cutler's fault.
Nevermind that the special teams is worse than nonexistent. At this point the Bears would be better off sending the punter and long snapper out there alone and just kicking it out of bounds on every 4th down. At least the chance for a penalty would be greatly reduced.

Cutler is not Peyton Manning or Tom Brady. He never will be. But he's also not Craig Krenzel, Moses Moreno, Steve Stenstrom, or Rex Grossman, or............. Many Bears "fans" have a short memory about the QB position in this town.

Could Cutler have played better? Absolutely. But that goes for every single Bear yesterday.

That is not the argument at all. The argument is that there are a LOT of problems with this team. Lots of coaches and players are performing poorly. The QB is only part of the problem, but its what everybody talks about.
