Stupid running water. Thinks you're so great.

Man, that is some pathetic shit. But I like how that photo pretty much captures the very essence of modern cable news in one picture.

That isn't totally true. It is pretty dangerous. It requires a response unlike anything we've seen in our lifetimes to keep it under control. The measures being taken to stop the spread in this country are pretty extreme. We basically are locking people up who get exposed and we have no proven treatment. The containment effort will be much better and effective than it was in Africa but it still is a serious threat.

If it wasn't a dangerous situation we'd be reacting to it like the flu. Until we have a proven effective treatment it will continue to be a major concern.

I don't know who is dumber today:
Those who blame President Obama for this.
Those who think we let the guy die of Ebola today because he was a black man.

..and yes, before anyone asks, there are a lot of people online saying both those things.

Let's call it a tie.

The sooner we realize people who comment frequently on the internet are second class citizens and should be ignored, the better off we'll all be

The scariest aspect of this story so far for me is the homeless guy that was in the ambulance directly after the Dallas guy that they couldn't find for something like 5 days. Who knows where the hell that guy went?

That's like something from a bad movie.

W_Z I am sorry to correct you but the Reston version is airborne. The only thing is it only affects monkeys not humans. When they tested the humans after the basically nuked the reston facility that the monkies where housed in and the virus went rampant in. All the humans who where in the building who where not in level 4 hazmat gear had anti-bodies for the virus in them. We are being lied to by the media and govt, this is not the first time Elbola has been in the United States
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reston_virus
As many of you may point out I am a moron and a conspiracy nut but I am thinking the genie is out of the bottle. The thing is airborne or found another way to spread more easy like say through mucus. This plus the Entrovirus may finally be the Earth deciding to thin out the heard.
