The owners of Fatso's last stand on Chicago Ave and Oakley are taking over Hot Doug's spot on December 1st.

NSJ never dines at places where food is served in buns. That is way below him.

I never went to Hot Doug's. Judging from this thread, I didn't miss much.

If NSJ were in the Chicago area, he'd never go south of Howard.

According to all of the "Facts" twitter accounts that I follow, Costco hasn't changed their price of the Hot Dog and 20 oz drink in 30 years.

that's cause its probably the same hot dog that's been sitting there for 20 years.

I didn't even know Costco was in existence 20 years ago.

But, you should buy those dogs while you can. I'm currently involved in a work comp case against Costco and after I'm done with them those dogs might see a price increase to offset the beating I plan to give them.

You leave my Costco alone! I took an item back the other day after having it a month and they took it back, no questions asked!

Fatso's does a very good job there. It's a real chicago dawg stand.

Doug is a good dude, lil strange, but good Sarkis people!

Good Dolphin will now change his opinion of the guy. lol.

Doug works the counter just like Sarkis...pad of paper, writes the order, then gives you an estimated bill. "ehhhh 9.00$"

walmart is better for free rentals. one time we stayed at a friends house and it was cold. he didnt have heat because he didnt have money, but the gas was still on. so we went to walmart and bought a 120v inverter for like $130. it was the big one. we ripped open the packaging like it wolves got to it. i hooked up the inverter to my car, and then the other end to the furnace. i hit the gas pedal and told him to turn on the furnace. it fired up and we got heat in the house. then we got wasted.

two days later, monday, i unhooked everything and brought the mess back to walmart. i dumped all the crap on the counter and said "it seems like a nice unit and it works fine, but it didn't do what we needed it to do". they refunded me with cash. love walmart!

If that happen Ike, that's kind of crappy.

My return was legit. They told me that a bunch of people complained about the same thing, so that's why there was no further explanation needed.

The return happened because Walmart will just deduct a credit from the vendor like Home Depot does.
