Transition talk about he and his cousin finding porno playing cards. At least they're not arguing.

Now he's talking about that idiot Caller Bob Jennifer Lawrence. At least he's not defending her statement, so he's got that going for him.

Things will happen. Let's listen and post. Or not.

I'm eating Subway right now. Enjoy that.

Well, seeing as how he never had a girlfriend he had to learn it from somewhere.

I've finished my sammich and we've got a schedule now.

Trestman and the Trouble with Words at about 2:40.
The Second Half @ 3:30.
Hug Arbish takes your calls at 5pm.

Today's question: While packing for his move, what surprises did Terry find in his basement?

The Detroit Free Press finally tracked him down.

I'm enjoying this thread much more than the show when I've tuned in lately. You've piqued my interest
DT so I am going to tune in and see what all the hype is all about. I leave work in an hour so maybe
a little AM radio will send me off into the cruel world in a good mood.

How does Terry know that Trestman isn't holding Marshall, or anyone else, accountable on the practice field and in the locker room? Who cares if he doesn't directly blame a player for something in a press conference?

Terry must have said "accountable" 50 times in the last 60 seconds.

So now it's my fault when this show flies off the rails and/or T-Bone flies off the road .... great .....

Back: No Noise

Don Tiny, so far you have led me into the promise land. 25 minutes of more above average
B&B and then the Trestman presser and I leave a happy man. Motivational t-shirts!

It should be "Hunker down". Not "Bunker down". Somebody had to order the t-shirts? Nobody corrected the coach?

Send Trestman the Urban Dictionary link.

Trestman: I want t-shirts with a slogan. Something to emphasize concentration and unity. Something that captures our great tradition.

Bears PR Guy: How about Beardown, coach?

Trestman: No. Never heard of that one. Really doesn't make sense nor does it apply to our tradition. How about Bunker Down. Yeah, that's it. Order 200 t shirts.

Bear PR guy: Yes, sir coach. Blue and orange t shirts coach?

Trestman: No. That doesn't make sense. Black and Red.

Bear PR guy: That's the Falcons colors. :?

Trestman: Exacltly

this is it...

Dan is breaking bad on Phil Tresty. Let the calls hearkening back to Mark being the best hire, don't worry about how long the process is taking, they're picking the brains of men who may be competitors begin.

I was listening on Monday and Dan basically admitted that he was wrong about Trestman.

somebody go back to circa jan 13 and find all the stuff they spouted about how Emery, along with Theo put Chicago in the "golden age of the GM".

In Texas, if it can't be shot at or executed, it doesn't exist.

Funny that the guys in the business of talking sports are the last people to realize they put their faith in the wrong guys.

I don't mind that, if they would only get back to being in the business of being entertaining. I never asked them to be sports experts.

Just thinking about this. 53 guys in a locker room daily. If one of the Dallas Cowboys comes in contact with this Ebola trail, then we won't have the Dallas Cowboys anymore.

Dan is going to break bad on nearly every coach when they spend as much time as they do dissecting his choice of words, and mannerisms. The show isn't very positive towards most players or coaches.

I wonder if this is the only radio show in the whole country that has a host read a commercial for a hand selected fancy wine service?

I guess they've found a way to monetize the pseudo intellectual sycophantic douchebags that listen! Purchase fast TenFootMidget!

There's no way this is legit, either. Good wine sold to some ass hole cuz the good wine company has too much, then this ass hole changes the good wine's label and sells it for half it's worth? What?

Hub was in rare form yesterday. hee hee

He spent 10 minutes going through all the issues the Bears had on offense. hee hee

They don't have their speedy 3rd receiver. hee hee
The run game is nonexistent. hee hee
Bennett isn't blocking anyone. hee hee
Marshall has been a ghost since Week 2. hee hee
The offense line has been decimated with injury. hee hee

His conclusion? "The biggest problem with this offense is, without question, Jay Cutler." hee hee

Here's the thing though. If it had been some red-faced Irishman or Polack coming in with the same damn offense uttering all manner of psychobabble and high school bullshit instead of a Really Smart J-ew with a law degree, dan would have broken bad on him immediately. This goof got a pass up until he had a fucking rah-rah t-shirt printed with a malapropism and dan simply couldn't take it anymore.

Team's really starting to feel like 2004 Cubs with the dipshit in charge, asshole players who tell fans to eat dirt, and falling well short of expectations.

Does that mean Bill Parcells is the next Bears head coach?

It's still the Bears, so I'm thinking more Norv Turner.
