went last year, friend of mine picked up a pink 1957 Cadi! (It's Island Sand color....but it's pink) Paid $27,500!

If I had a garage for another car, I would do it!

Still fun to go to, bad thing is that the prices in Chicago seem to get a little higher here on everything....didnt see one deal, that I have seen in the past....felt like everything went for at least 20K

(yeah, a better name for the company wouldnt be bad, but too late)

https://www.mecum.com/

Guessing this goes for $30K

My friend had a '71. We broke down twice on the way to Dead shows, once in Missouri, and once in Michigan.

This car will seem pretty lame by most standards, and I've probably mentioned this before, but to this day I still want a 1997-2003 Grand Prix GT or GTP.

My sister had a 99 that got totaled. She still says she wishes she had that car.

Hey that thing rides in the water if I am not mistaken. Seen that one up here in Kenosha.

This would be a good thread if you guess what cars someone would go for.

Not lame at all. I loved my Grand Prix. You can probably buy mine at an auction somewhere in New York for a few thousand dollars!

My ex had one of those when we dated. I absolutely hated how you are wrapped in the drivers seat with
that plastic. Hers ran like shit for a few years before she got rid of it. Maybe she had a lemon but while
it looks nice from the outside, I was never a fan of actually driving one.

Well, mine was actually a 2004 which was the next and final generation. The seats were very comfortable on that one.

Yeah, hers was earlier than that. We all know what Rick currently has....

I had a '97 GTP. Loved it. Had 1 recall for a supercharger issue, but while it was under warranty, no major issues. Got rid of it shortly after the transmission had to be replaced (luckily, under warranty) but not because of that. Rather, the AC started to go. Had it fixed once, and about a month later, the same issue sprung up. Other minor things started to happen, and this was all after the warranty expired. I didn't want to keep throwing money at it, so in my infinite wisdom, I bought a new car instead, as those grow on trees...

My husband had a 1999 or 2000. If you had one too it's most definitely lame.

Did you force him to sell it and buy a minivan?
