Could you imagine being this dude's wife? 99% of what he says is negative. Not in a 'nah, I'm not a big fan of brussel sprouts' negative, but pop a damn vein negative. From all accounts, he makes a nice consistent living. He gets to talk about sports for 4.5 hours a day, gay marriage is legal in Illinois and his son is going to cure cancer and win the Vezina. Why so negative?

Who were some of the quarterbacks Bernstein B&B was comparing Cutler to yesterday using stats to find guys with similar histories? The whole thing was a setup to make us think that Cutler is good, when he's not. I was surprised that Boers said that based on the comparisons you take Cutler. This coming from a guy in Boers, who got off the Cutler bus end of last year, was back on it before the season started and two weeks ago, was off the Cutler bus again. I've come to the realization that B&B take every side to the story, so they appear to be never wrong, when all they do is flip flop all the time.

Well seeing the list is up in Rick's post and basically Terry and Dan acknowledged they were wrong when Cutler got here you are missing something. Was a little weird for them to say though that Hub was a hero for not getting carried away when Cutler arrived.

I talked to a wine maker (Warner) yesterday and pitched him this concept. He laughed at the concept, if its good wine why would he keep it limited and sell the rest at a discount? Given the sunk costs of production another label at a discount would be to preserve the value of his own label but he would do that only if the wine was inferior and/or a very, very limited release, probably meant to be used as a blend. So while it may be considered rare or unique, and even a value, that doesn't mean it will be good as it matures.

We took home a case of some of his reserve stuff. He doesn't have enough of it on hand to be properly distributed at retail.
